Cancelation policy sucks! Refunds are not processed. Met with accident, tore ACL but still got charged. We are shown to a fine print. I will not go back.

Workout mats are not hung up, never clean. Floor is filthy in stretching area. Staff should spend more time cleaning than hanging out. No classes that are otherwise advertised.

Great gym. Always exceptionally clean. Great AC and giant fans for a workout. Large assembly of equipment and designated areas for various types of workouts. Good culture! Terrific staff.

Been a member since 2017. I had an issue with my credit card being charged a few times canceled my card. I had bank draft with no problems. So they were getting paid every time. Tried to force me to use another card. When I refused that (Hannah) they district manager had me cancel my membership. Even suggested out loud that one of the reasons it was double charged could have been because of lack of funds in my account. ( Really you would say that out loud in front of other members)You can't file a complaint because she said she was the one who took them. And when I asked her to put the reasons she had me cancel, she said there wasn't one for that. I guess if you don't believe in credit cards. Or if you are poor you can't be a member. Taking money from your checking isn't good enough for Planet fitness.

I personally have a distaste for their corporate philosophy and would prefer an unconditioned space with racks of free weights and benches. However, it is a perfectly adequate gym with good staff. It's clean and has decent hours. It's does not have a decline bench.

Really clean and nice workers I always get a good workout in and I love that they have drinks so if you forget you'res you can still get you're energy and water needed to have a good workout everything is set up so that you enjoy you're timeThe first time I came to the gym I was self conscious and nervous but if you put both headphones in and just focus on yourself you'll kind-of enter you're own little worldAlso if people look at you it's not cause of anything bad I actually look at other people cause I admire what they are doing or have done to they're body and I wanna see what they do to interpret it into my own personal workouts and see if it also works for meThe gym is a very open space we don't care how you look if you feel good and come in focused on yourself and you're own growth the people looking are admiring it too so don't be nervous and if you are try it and see if you like it and if you don't at least you gave it a shotAnyways good luck yallLive happy healthy ❤️

I've been a member now for about 4 months and am glad to have made the switch to Planet Fitness. The employees are friendly and helpful as well as keeping the facility clean and organized. There is a vast choice of equipment all of which is in good condition. For the most part the people there keep to themselves and focus on their workouts. I would highly recommend.

**The SAME day I posted this review, PF in Fairhope decided to make an unauthorized charge from my checking account in the amount of $123.97. Additionally, those responding to these reviews as "the owner" are not accurate. It is actually the social media team, who cannot assist or make any final decisions, they just try to cover up the negative reviews and make them better by responding. This is unbelievable and sadly, when I called my bank to immediately stop any future charges, the rep shared they had a similar experience with PF and advised to never give them access to your bank/debit card. **I wish I had a better experience with Planet Fitness because I love the accessibility and the gym itself. Unfortunately, I signed my 17 y/o son up online and was told I needed to come in and sign for his membership since he was a minor. I went to PF and spoke to the young man working at the counter and explained I had to sign for my son. He pulled up his account and confirmed I needed to sign. I waited as he set it up for me to sign on the electronic device. I signed and was told that was all that is needed. That was about 2 weeks ago and my son has since worked out there several times. Last night, when he went to work out, he was stopped and told I need to come in and sign for his membership (?!). I called them and explained I had already done this and after much confusion, I asked for the manager to call me. I received a call from Hannah (the manager) who repeatedly kept telling me that I didn't sign for my son's membership because it was still in the queue and if I did, I would have received an email copy of what I signed. After much frustration with Hannah talking over me, interrupting me repeatedly to tell me I needed to come in and sign, yet she could not and would not tell me what I had signed 2 weeks ago, I asked her to explain what it was I DID sign. I still do not have that answer. How can you have a customer come in, sign electronically for a minor's membership, then 2 weeks later tell them you need to come sign again and that they cannot tell me what I actually did sign?! The lack of customer service, respect, and professionalism is astounding to me. I literally had to stop the conversation and ask her if she would please allow me to finish a sentence instead of talking over me....literally, I had to ASK if she would allow me to speak...RIDICULOUS! I have requested the owner to reach out to me because nothing fruitful or even respectful is going to come out of any conversations with Hannah.

I have been attending this gym for a little over a year now. I have never had a bad experience while there. The staff is always friendly and greets me every time I walk in, and say have a good night when I leave. The other members there working out are also very friendly and approachable. If you are going to begin your gym journey I recommend starting it here.

If I could give this facility 0 stars I would. Worst customer service experience by far. The place is solely ran by incompetent teenagers with attitude problems. Made me go through so many hoops just to use the tanning bed when all the employee had to do was look me up by first and last name. Also told me I had to show proof of eyewear!? I signed a contract and waiver (when signing up for a black card membership) stating “Tan at your own risk.” I’ve used the tanning bed there before several times with NO proof of eyewear. If you go to any Planet Fitness I highly suggest the Foley location. Much better customer service and staff.

Have written on Yelp in hopes that it would garner some attention but I’ll put it here as well as this issue continues and leaves a poor taste in some of the older folks here (which make up a large percentage of clients at this particular location) with regard to work ethic. The young high schoolers/early 20’s-something’s are constantly on their phones or playing around behind the counter, talking to their friends that walk in and think it’s social hour. The day I’mWriting this, there’s a gentleman working the counter that’s been talking to a girl for my entire workout (and hour) and his co-worker behind him playing with a balloon and rubber band. I have beginning and end time-date stamps of course! Wondering if the management is going to continue to allow this work ethic and unprofessional conduct to continue to continue? Please see a few attached pics and video.Ps… I started this whole picture taking thing when a young woman working here was texting on her cell and literally told me to wait and she was almost done texting before she would get me a hydro bed.
