Red Or White Wine Fairhope is a retail wine and beer shop with a full-service wine bar. It features a great and huge selection of retail wine and beer, with several beers available. The food is fantastic and first rate. The sour dough pizzas are phenomenal, legit, thin with a nice crispy and chewy crust, just as an Italian style brick oven pizza should be. The charcuterie boards are amazing and a go-to, perfect for a snack or meal. Specials are always unique and delicious, with vegetables grilled and seasoned to perfection. It is a great place for a tasty glass or two and has become a regular spot for many. Service is generally super friendly and attentive, though it can be hit or miss and very busy. A noted drawback is that it can be hard to get into for dinner, especially later in the evening. The kitchen's ventilation can also be an issue, with smoke sometimes bothering the eyes. Despite this, it remains a loved destination with amazing pizza and boards.
I always enjoy coming here. The pizza, flatbread, and marinated beans are my faves! Wine options are always good (for bottles to take home and by the glass in the store). And the wine tastings are a steal! I just wish they stayed open later and was open on Sundays 🩵
