Thomas Hospital: Emergency Room has received a range of reviews highlighting both positive experiences and areas for improvement. Patients appreciate the quick, thorough, and compassionate care provided by the staff, with many mentioning attentive and kind nurses and personnel. The emergency department is often described as busy but generally attentive to patients' needs. Some reviewers praise specific staff members for their kindness and professionalism, noting that staff listened well and made efforts to accommodate patients. However, there are reports of long wait times, with one patient waiting over four hours before being seen, which affected their overall impression. There was also some concern about communication issues, such as not following proper procedures or delays in treatment orders, which caused frustration. Despite these challenges, patients who received care in the ER generally felt well cared for and appreciated the staff’s efforts. Overall, Thomas Hospital's emergency department is seen as a place where patients can receive quick and caring medical attention, though improvements in wait times and communication could enhance the experience.
I would give it 5 stars but I was in alot of pain and it took a really long time to see anyone once in the e.r room itself. The girls up front were nice and quick though.
