Worst experience ever at this Walmart in Fayette,AL. Took me 3 hours to do 45 mins worth of shopping because management poorly planned store update. Instead of doing one section at a time they want to work in random areas throughout the store with loud floor strippers and articulated lifts everywhere throughout the store, blocking off random isles in the store as well. After getting everything I needed finally, get up to the front and the manager tried telling me and my disabled father she didn't know we were in the store and they were already closed and wouldnt allow us to checkout. Now mind you, every other employee in that store knew we were in there and they were actually helping us find items that we needed, but yet the blonde female manager somehow didn't know we were there? Give me a break lady!! I will do my shopping at the Winfield Walmart from now on even if it means that I have to drive an extra 20 minutes from Fayette.

Went to return an item purchased at another location and was told that if they refunded the item it would be a loss to the store!!! Wound up going to the Winfield location with NO issues at all!

Overall clean and organized store.
Shelves are well stocked. Unlike other Walmarts most item are not locked behind glass. Making you search down a team member. After months of construction parking lot is repaved. Water fountain was for looks only. Staff are very nice some looked bored with repetition but when you asked them a question a smile appeared and engaged you in conversation.
