I read the reviews and was a bit apprehensive but stayed there anyway. I am sure glad I did. This is an older building so not sure what some folks expected. It is clean. The staff are exceptionally nice. The Continental Breakfast is all anyone needs. The television worked fine with more channels to choose from. The bed was great. The bathroom was small but met all needs. The price was the BEST of all. Glad some of the snobs have kept the price down by trashing a really nice place to stay.

This is basically a Motel 6 on stilts. Actually, I’ve seen a couple Motel 6’s that would definitely have put Days Inn of Florence to shame because the Motel 6’s were nicer, less dingy. The room was hot and stuffy upon entry, and when I turned the air conditioner on, it smelled musty and gross. The lighting is very dingy and you can’t really open the curtains or people will be able to look in. The bathroom looks like a gas station bathroom just with a shower added. AND... I was washing my son’s bottles and a HUGE roach tried to crawl out of the excess water hole in the sink!!!!! ??????? The hangers in the “closet” were extremely dusty! The bed was kind of hard and the pillows are like the ones you may have at home (which means the ones that really need to be thrown out because they are flat due to about five years of use). 10/10 would NOT recommend. The only reason it even deserves a one-star rating is because the front desk worker (the owner, I think?) helped me get the cart up to the room because I was carrying my baby via car seat.

Place is dingy and uncomfortable, price is way too high for the quality. Our bathroom was gross, air conditioner sounded like a jack hammer. They did offer to move us and refunded our second room when we said we just wanted to sleep. So an extra star for that. Little more $$ and you could find a much nicer place to stay.

Where do i start. 1st of all the pictures on their wed site R NOT what u see when u get there. The pool was a kiddie pool. Yes, I knew it was going to b an older hotel, but I had to keep messing with the air in the room to keep it working. Some of the other parents there with their ball player had no air at ALL. I will not b staying in this hotel again. Oh an there was trash on the bathroom floor & a whole in the window where someone had shot through it.

We asked to check the bedroom before to pay anything, and we found a bed bug on the sheets. The guy at the front desk say "if they are some, it should be dead... What the hell!". We were out of this awful place the minute after.

One of the worst days inn I've ever been to... The should be a local shelter for homeless people ... They dont even clean the room .... Nor give the guest any real food or juice in the small eating section ?

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed slept great and the managers were pleasant. Drawbacks, if road noise is a problem for you staying on the side facing the street will be an issue. I sleep very soundly so it was a non-issue for me. Also, the quality of the Wi-Fi through my VPN was spotty - I don't think that's the hotel's fault but wanted to pass that along.

As far as "affordable" motels go, it wasn't bad. The staff was friendly, the free brakfast was good, and the location was great. You can walk to Ricatoni's. The bad: the room had a mildew/bleach odor. The pool was closed in the middle of July. Good thing we found out about the splash pad down at the park. If I go back I'd probably print for something a little better, but they were all full this weekend.

We made a reservation over a month in advance at this hotel and told them we were bringing a boat as there were over 400 fishing teams coming for a tournament. The front desk agent stated that was fine and not a problem. We got an email two days prior to check-in stating we couldn't bring our boat due to no parking available and the hotel just sent an email cancelling our reservation!! Poor customer service, the manager is the owner and only communicated by email. I called to speak with "Sam" the manager but was told he was not available. Very undependable location-beware. One minute you have a reservation and then one minute you don't--- at the owner's mercy.

This was the nastiest. Most unfriendly poor excuse for a hotel that i have ever seen. The staff was rude and the grounds and hotel were dirty. The pool was green. Do not go here

The room needs updated. The colors are ugly. It's decent but not worth the price. I've seen better at a cheaper motel.

Staff was very friendly and suggested places to visit during our stay. Rooms are a little outdated but clean. I would stay here again.
