Nothing but problems from Kaleidoscope. The first time they accused me of stealing from them. I only pick up flowers on site from the refrigerator, I never place orders in advance. They kept sending me demand letters with an invoice to pay up. I told them I only select arrangements from the case. I’ve never ordered flowers in advance, so unless I physically stole from the store (which I’ve never done), there is no way I owe them money. The woman on the phone shouted at me and told me the burden was on me to prove I paid, and hung up on me. They then went back in their books and found my credit card payment and I was vindicated. Now, another issue arose, my mom called and place a flower order for me and they didn’t quite have the flowers she wanted, and the guy she talked to was short and rude, which left a bad feeling, so she immediately called back and cancelled. They apparently didn’t actually cancel the order, they billed her credit card and delivered flowers she didn’t like or want. I called and as I was explaining the man on the phone yelled at me to “HOLD ON.” I have never been talked to like this. I yelled back and he hung up on me. I’ve had it with these rude people. This is the second time they have made a very egregious billing mistake and not only are they not humble and contrite, they lash out. So poorly managed. Avoid Kaleidoscope at all costs. Dean’s does a much better arrangement, and are always kind and happy to take your call.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. Nothing but problems from Kaleidoscope. The first time they accused me of stealing from them. Ordered flowers for my mom’s birthday to surprise her at work. The arrangement was even more beautiful than it was portrayed on the website! Flowers were fresh and delivered to her with no issues. So pleased and so thankful that Kaleidoscope helped me celebrate my mom from miles away!

I highly recommend Kaleidoscope Florist! I called based on a friend's recommendation, to order a plant for a funeral. I had forgotten and was calling only about 4 hours prior to the visitation starting. The gentleman I spoke with was so kind and accommodating! I apologized for the late notice and asked if delivery prior to the service starting was possibe. He was so gracious and kind and said "That's no problem, that's what we're here for." He asked what I was looking for and in what price range. Explained that he didn't have exactly what I was looking for but told me what the substitute could be and asked if that was ok. I got to the service and found the plant combo that I had ordered. It was beautiful! I was so pleased!!!

I live in Chicago and in Cherokee AL 4 months a year. I have been doing business with Kaleidoscope since 2010. I reccomended them to friends and family in both locations. Today I called to place an order as I just received an email this week advertising a bouquet called Blush Life, but when I tried to order it they were out of several of the flowers. I asked a reasonable question as to why they were advertising a product that they couldn't fulfill. Regardless we came up with reasonable substitutions and I placed the order. They charged $14.99 for an unwrapped Russell Stover assortment. I suggested they might want to add an upgraded brand of candy as an option but I ordered it anyway. My total was $140.00. Within 2 minutes I received a phone call that they were REFUSING the order. The rep told me the owner said I placed too many complaints and he would no longer do business with me. I asked to speak with the owner to try to resolve the problem and boy was I in for a surprise! Joey, the owner, had no desire to resolve anything but definitely wanted to lie, insult and degrade me. He said I had complained about several orders which is simply not true. I asked for specifics and he mentioned an order from 2016. I thought about it afterwards and I did complain bc on ANY floral designs I order I specify no daisies of any kind. They sent an arrangement full of Gerbers so yes, I complained. But there was no refund, discount or replacement offered or requested. I simply wanted to make sure my account notes were accurate. Joey swears he had to replace orders due to my complaints which never, ever happened and when I asked for details he continued to yell, cut me off and berate me. It makes no sense to any logical person that I have been a repeat customer for more than a decade and reccomended his business that I would have complained to the point he has literally banned me from ordering again! Lol. I am specific when I order flowers and obviously that happens when I place an order, not afterwards. So one complaint in 2016 and a question about marketing a product they can't fulfill and a suggestion that they include a better quality candy option & THAT got me banned for life. Not to mention the Queen Bee owner Joey is definitely one of the rudest, most hostile and angry humans I have had the misfortune of talking to. I can't imagine working with beautiful flowers & having that much resentment that as a business owner he wouldn't hesitate to treat a client with such disdain. I was truly shocked. I have informed my family on our group chat about what transpired and told them to use Dean's Flowers in Florence who put together a gorgeous, elegant arrangement for less money and no issue w/ special requests. I just noticed a review on Yelp that said Joey was so rude he called her a bi**h. I believe her after my encounter with him. He also boasted he had 5 star reviews which he does not. I strongly suggest using Dean's or any other florist. This owner is unreasonable and unprincipled. Some success in a small rural area has gone to his ego and created a monstrous freak who has no problem actually insulting clients. Not that I would ever spend another dollar there but being banned for not loving Russell Stover is going to make for an amusing story at parties! Kaleidoscope was the best option I could find years ago so I became a faithful customer. After seeing Dean's modern, classy arrangements I realized my loyalty was misplaced. Kaleidoscope arrangements are very 1980s in style and selection but with 2023 prices. You can do better with your money & send a bouquet that will awe the recipient instead of a basic arrangement that they will appreciate but not actually love. Plus if you have any reason to complain beware Joey's diatribe will leave you insulted. I feel terrible for his "significant other." I can't imagine how he would behave if they didn't love his new meatloaf recipe. We supported his business for many years but I strongly urge you to take a pass and use a

I live in Chicago and in Cherokee AL about 4 months a year. I have been doing business with Kaleidoscope since 2010. I reccomended them to friends and family in both locations especially to Chicagoland relatives when there is a situation with our southern family members. We live over 500 miles away and have called this florist several times for family occasions and have been very pleased. This was the first time we came to the shop while in town and it was a great experience. The shop is large, open space to watch designers work and has lots of beautiful plants and gift options. Meeting the staff was delightful. We had wonderful conversation and made a special friend with Joey, the owner. Our Mother loved the beautiful cut arrangement prepared for her 88th birthday. We look forward to future times.

The arrangements are subpar in quality of flowers and design. You may as well just go to a grocery store and buy.- less expensive for what I have received consistently from Kaleidoscope. I feel bad for my loved ones who spend money for these arrangements. For example, an arrangement was over $100 arrived wilted, stems with leaves in the water( not trimmed properly) and just a mess of whatever flowers -in the unimaginative 3 high then low design. The flowers were yellow, green, pink, purple, white, lavender just looked thrown together. The mess of arrangement died within 24 hours. This has happened the last several times I received arrangements from them. I do not recommend.

Great selection although the prices are higher than I expected but that could be from the the difficulty to get things right now in the world. They all were super nice and the arrangement I purchased was beautiful!!

We rushed in from out of town to plan a funeral, and needed a simple, basic order. Frankly we picked this place because it was the only one open, so my expectations were not high. The flowers were fresh, the design lovely and everything was delivered on time. My sister ordered flowers online, sight unseen, and the florist was thoughtful enough to coordinate them with the casket spray. Really pleased with the results.

I just received my first ever bouquet of roses from Kaleidoscope and let me say they are the most beautiful bouquet I’ve ever had. My fiancé sends me flowers weekly and this is most definitely the place he needs to stay with thank you so much Kaleidoscope for the breathtaking flowers.
