Tried to stay here on our 2 man canoe trip of the entire Tennessee River on Oct. 7, 2023. Were informed that they don't allow any tent camping, only RV. Informed me that the "No Tent" policy went into effect on June 28, 2023. The webpage needs to be updated if indeed this No Tent policy is in effect.

Nice area and boat ramp. The bathrooms near the bost ramp were locked though. There is a bathroom on the other side of the small bay.

Horrible, absolutely horrible! 1st come 1st serve for camping is ridiculous especially when they let someone set up a Barbie doll tent to hold their space! I was there, in person, where was that person? On the way out, attempting to sit on a stone bench at a stone table by the river, the back of my leg got cut, bad. Please be careful, watch yourself & your kids by these benches & tables.

Can't beat full hookups (sewer, water, 30/50 amp) for $25 (or $20 for seniors) right on the river. This was our first time to Florence and we will be back. There are no reservations, it's a city park with first come first serve.

My favorite park in Florence! Beautiful and plenty of sidewalks to walk on. Love the playground and the swings near the river. Frisbee golf course is very well done.

Located at the mouth of Florence Harbor, this lighthouse helps to guide vessels to safety. It's also a great landmark for finding food and fuel. This lighthouse was erected several years ago.

Beautiful scenery and relaxing atmosphere. Wish the camp grounds were a little more impressive. Great fishing spots. Love it has a marina restaurant Stanfield's River Bottom Grill.

This is truly my tranquility spot. I go down here and sometimes never get out of my car and just indulge in the beauty of the Tennessee River and all of its glory that comes with it. Other times, most of the times, I get out and sit on my favorite, concrete table and enjoy the sun, breeze and gorgeous view. No matter where you are here, you are in heaven. I've even enjoyed lots of days in a tree hammock, just hanging out and loving every minute of it. A must if you're in Flirence. Family reunions or just walking the dog, the kids or your thoughts.
