I am very happy with the service I receive at the Meineke car care center in Florence, AL. All the service members and management are very helpful in explaining to me what my car needs and don't try to get me to buy things my vehicle doesn't need. I take all my personal vehicles and even the church van there for work. I will continue to use them as long as I feel they're doing a fantastic job so that means from now on.

Very nice and a very good oil change. The prices are too high for me with other things that need to be done and the oil change is a little steep also but the time is what I really didn’t like. Waiting over an hour to get a oil change done was a first for me…

Excellent experience. Made my appointment online. Dropped car off and not long after opening I received a text that I would get updates on my vehicle. They called to give me update and offered a discount on my service. Was able to fix my A/C the same day! Super service and friendly! Will definitely use again!

My car's AC stopped working and I saw that Meineke was having a special on AC servicing - free AC check. I thought this was a great opportunity to save some money and find out what was wrong with it.
The front desk person told me that yes it was a free check and they would get consent from me before doing anything that cost extra. When my car was brought back out, they said it would be around $170. They explained that they went ahead and got it working but they were happy to reverse everything and charge me nothing. They also explained that what they did may not have fixed it and I could bring it back if it stopped working again. Not happy about this at all but wanted to be optimistic and I needed to get back to work.
Fast forward a month, it isn't working again and I'm out $170 which is money I could have put towards having it truly fixed somewhere else.
This is my second time being duped by this store location. Last time it was a simple battery issue they tried to charge me $200 to fix but when I took it to advanced auto next door they fixed it for free.
In my opinion, these are examples of pretty bad and dishonest business practices.

Best experience at an auto service shop in years! Employees were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and seemed to love their job. Waiting area was clean, comfortable and air conditioned!! Highly recommend!!

Took my manual car in to get e-brake adjusted. Tech asked me to come see if it is ok after he finished because he had never adjusted one before and read Google forums to see how it’s done. It seemed fine it was a lot tighter. As soon as I got home and put the e-brake on it locked in to place and then the cable snapped. The guy up front said it was not on them because I checked it and said it was fine. I’m not a mechanic that’s why I took it to them and he didn’t tell me he didn’t know how to do it until after he was done! Would not recommend for anything!!
