First rented unit at $85 dollar rate, outrageously continued to raise monthly prices to 161.50 within 20 months. No customer service on site either for the last 10 months. Shop around, not here.

I was a tenant here. 40' RV storage. When it was Middle Road Storage, they were great. Michelle was always there and very helpful with questions/issues, etc.
Midgard took over sometime in early 2023. They promptly increased rates twice within about 6 months. They then built a large storage building in front of where RV parking was located without any warning to the tenants there. There was trash constantly in front of my RV which I had to clean up whenever I left in early January. There were also RVs parked on the main road through the facility not in designated parking areas. This is a liability for which they did not care, and it made maneuvering a 40' 5-th wheel out of the facility very difficult.
When I left the facility in January, they wanted me to pay for the entire month of February. I gave notice Jan 5th and was out Jan 12th. They demanded, via email, the entire month of February be paid because of the 30-day notice policy. I emailed them back and gave them a list of issues that occurred after Midgard took over where they had failed to maintain a clean facility and failed to keep the roads clear of parked vehicles. I offered them a prorated payment for the 5 days in February.
Note: I never had a signed lease agreement with Midgard...only with Middle Road. This is a predatory policy to charge a tenant for an entire month when they are not even in the facility.
I went back after a few days when I had not heard back from them. The facility only has a tv screen that brings up an operator to discuss issues. He stated that I was no longer in their system and that everything was "okay". I just now found out they turned me into collections without even giving me a response to my email. This place is awful. Do not use them.

I purchased a storage locker at auction. That part went smoothly it was only when we went to pick it up that it was a disaster there. Waited around for over 2 hours longer than we should have because people there didn't know exactly what the heck they were doing and they never called me back in time like they were supposed to do.

Midgard Self Storage has been a pleasure to work with! My son needed immediate access to a storage unit . I was able to complete the paperwork online from Washington State. They were very kind and helpful to my son. They responded quickly and personably to an online query about moving out procedures. I highly recommend them!

The lady who helped me went above and beyond. I've rented from a Muscle Shoals U-haul location and never had help installing the trailer. This lady helped me install the trailer and everything. I'll be going out of my way to rent from this location!
