Rooms were nice. I literally got charged over $30 for leaving a few balloons in the room ! I literally cleaned the entire room to make it easier on the house keepers and I left the balloons all together in the kitchen! I’ll never come here again so if you’re planning to decorate for a birthday, Valentine’s Day etc! Don’t leave anything behind considered “decorations” you will get a fee what a joke ?

My room appeared fairly clean however the mattress on the bed does not have a mattress protector . That is disgusting. Mattress covers are what keeps the mattresses clean. Also the hotel does not have ice machines. They have ziploc bags of ice in a cooler that can be accessed by anyone.

Perfectly situated hotel. Convenient for all surrounding areas. Restaurants. Shopping. Well lit parking lot for security. Pretty lobby area. The room was perfect. Large kitchenette- cooktop but no oven. Microwave. Full fridge. All cooking utensils and pots, pans and cups, plates. The couch is extremely comfortable. You can turn the TV to watch in the living area or bedroom. Bathroom is well lit with lots of mirrors. The toilet and shower are separated so it’s convenient for people to be showering while someone else is getting ready. Very comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Chest of drawers if you want to unpack. Lots of tables and chairs in the room. Breakfast is served every day.Rooms: See aboveSafety: Well lit parking.

We had no choice but to stay at this hotel (because it is one of the only hotels around that are cat friendly and offer kitchens in their rooms) due to a house fire in which we lost everything and were left homeless. Before we even booked the rooms, we requested a room with a full kitchen, as advertised on their website. Not all rooms have full kitchens, though. We had to change rooms 3 times before the management finally got it right. Then shortly after we got settled into the proper room, we find out that we are being kicked out much earlier than expected, due to management overbooking the hotel by 5 rooms. This is the most stressful, incompetent, and unprofessional hotel that I have ever experienced. The general manager, Tammy Dawson, is extremely unpleasant and she made our stay very uncomfortable. The rooms are mediocre, there are bugs inside, and outside on the hotel building itself. There were no mattress protectors on any of the beds either, which is very unsanitary. I am going to include as many photos as I can, for proof. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.Rooms: Before we even booked the rooms, we requested a room with a full kitchen, as advertised on their website. When we got to our first room, the so-called "full" kitchen wasn't equipped with an oven, it only had a cooktop with 4 small burners. The smoke alarm in the room also went off for no reason. The ice maker was also leaking so badly that it seeped through the flooring and was running down the walls and into the room directly underneath us, dripping out of a light fixture in their bathroom. It also had a broken sink in the bathroom that the maintenance man wasn't able to fix. So we requested a different room, one with an oven and working sink, and when we got to this 2nd room, the oven was too filthy to even use. It looked like it had never been cleaned before. The sink worked in the vanity area, but the actual bathroom with the toilet and shower was hard to use because it was so tiny. The tub was also gross and discolored due to the paint peeling off of it. The tile floors and carpet were dirty, and remained dirty looking, even after being mopped and vacuumed numerous times. The dishwasher was filled with stagnant water that made the entire room smell putrid, it also backed up into the kitchen sink. The bed was lumpy and uneven, and there was no mattress protector on it! We found bugs in every part of the room, both crawling and flying. We have actual bite marks and stings on us that we've documented. In each room, the toilet ran constantly and there was a constant dripping noise coming from the air conditioner. Very unpleasant.Safety: We were placed in this hotel after a fire destroyed our home and left us homeless... A few days after we checked in, we were startled awake early in the morning to a fire alarm that was accidentally set off by a front desk employee. Scared everyone in the hotel, people were frantic and running outside the building- and it was an unnecessary false alarm. A few days after that, we were startled awake early in the morning by a housekeeping employee who attempted to barge into our room without knocking or announcing herself as housekeeping. The only thing that kept her from coming inside unannounced was that the top latch on the door was in the locked position, so it would only open a little bit. Both of these instances left us on edge and feeling unsafe.Food & drinks: The so-called breakfast "buffet" mostly consisted of bland, watery eggs and microwaved sausage egg and cheese muffins in a plastic bag that are all soggy and wet when taken out of the package.Noteworthy details: The management of this particular Residence Inn Marriott in Florence, Alabama is the absolute worst that I have ever dealt with before. In particular, the general manager, Tammy Dawson, is the most rude, condescending and heartless employee I've ever had the unfortunate experience of meeting. We had our rooms booked until the end of December, but she personally informed

The amenities in the room were good. The area was quiet. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The pool was nice. The hot tub was not available for use. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I was able to get an extended check-out time at no extra charge. The breakfast was hot and had many options. There was sausage, waffles, eggs, cereal, oatmeal with a variety of toppings, muffins, pastries, bagels, coffee, juice, and yogurt.I will stay again. The price point was reasonable, considering the room has a kitchen and a living room area.

I was on an extended stay and this is one of the worst hotel breakfast I've ever had. Not everyone loves sausage and ham. Or quiche. Hash browns or some potato offerings? Stop making the wet heated croissants in a bag its so gross. Very limited options while having a lot. Most days I couldn't eat anything.

Great until you get woke up at 8am with all the alarms going off in the building and there is no fire. The alarms were blaring for hours! Talk about a rude awakening. The staff don’t know how to shut their own alarms off? Smh. Stay somewhere else.

The staff there does an incredible job. Ever though the building is a little older, it is very well maintained. For folks interested, it is pet friendly.
