After a disheartening day of dealing with used car dealerships and sales men, we were treated with the best group out there. Jon and Bryan are definitely the way to go. We were out the door with a nice car in less than an hour.

0 Stars— Crooked Dealership, Beware!
We bought a truck from this dealership less than two months ago, and it already needs a $10,000 transmission. We were more than fair and tried to work with them — even offered to trade it back in for another truck on their lot that cost $10,000 more than the one we purchased. Instead of standing behind what they sold, they basically told us “tough luck.”
They ignored our calls, were rude when we finally reached someone, and showed absolutely no integrity or customer service. Once they get your money, you’re on your own.
If you’re considering buying here — don’t. Save yourself the headache, the money, and the frustration. This place is everything people warn you about when they say “watch out for shady car dealers.”

Just bought a van and am very pleased so far. Rolled into their lot, 6 hours from home with a car whose transmission was pretty much gone. My kid let them know that right away, though I wanted to negotiate first. So, they knew I was kind of in a bind and easy pickins. Also, my phone died so I couldn't do any field research on price or anything before making a decision. This left me very uncomfortable, but desperate and with no other choice. I tried to negotiate on price, but they wouldn't budge from asking. Either they knew I was vulnerable or just because the van had only been there a few days. I never, ever pay more than private party value for a car and was pleased that their price was within $1000 or 4% off that price, so pretty decent deal. Best part, though I already had really good financing approved through USAA, they were able to get a better rate reducing by half a point through B of A. An auto warranty was insisted upon though, which is either good or bad, still to be seen. The insurance company has a 2.7 star rating, mostly for customer service issues. Given the amount of technology in the nearly new van, maybe it's good to have the coverage. Hope if I do need it, the coverage and service turns out better than some of the bad reviews portend. So far, after driving 6 hours back home and using the van all week, I love it. Huge upgrade from the POS broken down car they were willing to take off my hands and even pay a little bit for!

I absolutely love, Coastal Auto. I bought a car from them and a month later I had some issues with it and they gladly took care of the mechanic bill when it got fixed so I would recommend them to anybody. They’re honest upfront and they have a lot of integrity.

Do not go to coastal auto group to finance a vehicle especially as a first time buyer. My 2011 Tahoe has been nothing but problems I tried to return the vehicle less than a week after I got it and they told me I couldn’t even though in my contract it says there is a 30 day period that I can cancel the contract. Even with the warranty they gave me I can’t get my vehicle repaired because the warranty can’t be used at shops. I have no way of paying towards the principle on the vehicle. I financed the vehicle through them over a year ago and they have been no help and have even went as far as cursing me out. I haven’t been able to drive the vehicle for 2 months and still have to pay more than $500 a month and have to maintain full coverage insurance. They sold me the tahoe for $16,000 with a damaged bumper that they damaged (I assume because the pictures online looked fine) and no ac and other issues with a 26.99% interest rate so I’m really going to be paying almost $30,000 which was not fully explained to me. They did this after I asked for a vehicle in the $8,000 dollar range that was small and good on gas. They will do whatever they can to sell you a vehicle even if it’s not what you’re looking for and give you a jacked up interest rate and then not hold up their word on maintaining the vehicle. I have even went back with a couple thousand dollars to try to trade in and get a better vehicle but they’ve only tried to upsell me and put me further in debt. I would not even recommend this dealership to someone I didn’t like.

I needed a truck. I called Michelle, explained my situation. She called me back immediately and said “When can you get over here? You’ll need the following items and I’ll have you in something you won’t be disappointed in. The process was easy and not time consuming, now I’m the owner of a 2021 Silverado. Shout out to Coastal Auto and Michelle for an easy, painless truck buying process.

I recently visited Coastal Auto Group to purchase a pre-owned vehicle, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped onto the lot, I was greeted warmly by the staff (Jon and Josh)who were eager to assist me without being pushy. They patiently answered all my questions and provided transparent information about the vehicles I was interested in. What impressed me the most was their honesty and integrity throughout the entire process. There were no hidden fees or surprises, and they worked hard to ensure I got the best deal possible. I left feeling confident in my purchase and grateful for the exceptional service I received. I highly recommend Coastal to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy dealership.

Ok so here is the real review. Previously I wrote that this place is a great place to buy a vehicle well, I was wrong!!! DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE AT THIS PLACE!!!! They are crooked as a question mark! I bought a 2008 Chevy Impala from these people on November 28, 2023. I noticed after parking it in my carport that it’s leaking some kind of fluid so I called up there and they told me to take it to Foley service center which, by the way is a great place to go anyway I took it to them they told me it had six oil leaks in it, one leaking from the oil filter housing one leaking from the timing chain housing and another leaking from the rear main seal and two other spots where it’s leaking. I called up to coastal auto and spoke with Mike and he told me he was going to get in touch with John the finance manager, or whatever and he called me back and told me that there was nothing they could do. They couldn’t put me in another vehicle and they’re not gonna repair the oil leaks so basically now I’m screwed. The thing that got me was Mike told me to just drive it with the oil leak and that It’s Not that big of a deal. So what I’m saying is just do your research before you spend your time and money and waste all your money buying any vehicle from these people because they will not help you at all and 90% of the time the vehicles that they sell has some kind of major problem that’s hidden that they know about before they even sell it to you. I would spread it around to not buy a vehicle at coastal auto group because you’re gonna end up getting screwed. I spoke with my lawyer and I will be taking these guys to court.
