Purchased a skill table saw from here over a year ago. Brought it home (150 miles away) . Used it to rip 6 boards. Fire and smoke came from the motor so I called gulf coast tool. Salesman said bring it in and he would replace it. Well I went back (first chance we had) a little over a year later. They then informed me they could do nothing about it but to call skill and they would take care of it. LIE! SKILL said it had to be registered and warranty for 3 years was 39.00 . I then asked could I purchase a motor since it was semi my fault. Well he said look on ebay. They don't sell motors. So I then called gulf coast tools againHe said (Chris) Nothing he would do or could do. He was not rude but this place preys on tourist, they will help you if you are in front of them, but if not they will tell you in a nice way. "Kiss my a$$" . Never again will I enter Gulf Coast tools. I may only go there once a year (beach) , but when I did I always spent between 300 and 1200.00.

I am a craftsman of traditional woodworking and at times need specialry tools that you can't find as t bug chain stores like Home Depot and Lowes. Chris and his team at Gulf Coast are very helpful and keep a great selection of name brands like Festool, Dewalt and Makita. Great prices and customer service are top notch!
