Our experience with Storage Rentals of America was unacceptable. While making a trip to our unit, my husband was trapped inside the gate when rain short-circuited the motor and the gate could not be opened until it was reset. When he called the main office, he was told that no one was on call or available to help and that there was nothing they could do. Instead, on the suggestion of SROA, he had to coordinate with the police station and fire department to come physically remove the gate so that he could leave after 2 hours. Again, HE had to call the police and fire station to arrange his own rescue from SROA’s property after effectively receiving a shoulder shrug from the company.
On the day we were planning to move out, rain had again short circuited the gate and we were told by Riveria Utilities (who were on site restoring power) that the gate was with power and again just needed to be reset from inside the office. When we called the office to request assistance, we were told again that no one was available to come help us- in the middle of the work day. We had spent thousands of dollars on movers for the day but ultimately were not able to access our unit in time to use them for our items in storage. When we expressed frustration to SROA about no one having accountability for managing this location, we were dismissed. No apology offered, no attempt to alleviate the inconvenience.
Weather is unpredictable and that’s understandable; having no decency or common sense in dealing with extenuating circumstances (especially when my husband was inside the inoperable gates on the property) is inexcusable. I would not recommend SROA to anyone.
Also of note, we were notified of a >30% price increase of our rent by the 3rd month.

Chelsea the facility Manager was very helpful in assisting me with my storage needs. The facility is clean and well maintained which helped me to choose here above other facilities.

I rented a unit and they had a special of buy one month get two free! The properly manager, Chelsea, was so kind and knowledgeable. She made the process so easy!! Her customer service was superb. She checked on me while loading my unit because it was so hot. Nice to know there are still kind people in the world!! I highly recommend this facility.

Very clean.. easily maneuverable entrance and exit. There is no security fence around the units. No trash no weeds non-paved but shelled/rock lot.

Great deal for such a large storage unit. Extra Space Storage was kind enough to prorate us for an extra week when we were running late moving out. Clean, convenient location, and friendly and helpful staff.
