I don't have a clue what's going on with the Dollar General in Fort Deposit, Monday,Aug 14,the store did not open at all I was told.I believe it is the worst managed store in the state of Al.The shelves are never stocked well,the prices are different at the register when you check out.Somebody from Dollar General needs to care enough to come and check it out.

It's just like any other dollar general, except this one closes at 7:30 or 8:00 even though the lights may still be on, doors locked.

This place has really gone downhill the last couple years. Shelves are often bare, prices are frequently wrong but they usually have aisles full of carts with goods that have not yet been put out. Credit/debit card processing is down regularly. At the time of this writing they closed five and a half hours early today, which is not an unusual occurrence. This place needs a lot of help.

The manager is so knowledgeable and concerned about his customers. He keeps it going smooth and believe me he is tested here. This man deserves a Nobel prize.

I love this place. It's close to home so it is convenient... I racked up on sale items and always wait for more sales to go in again. The manager is amazing and I love that he personally greets his customers. It's a small town so everybody knows everybody... And this place makes you feel welcome no matter who you are.
