“This is one of the coolest tiny towns in America with an incredible history. This tiny town is only 3.1 square miles, last I checked, 150 or so residents. "Pine Apple" Alabama has two places on the National Register of Historic Places, the Hawthorne House and the Pine Apple Historic District. It's an adorable town. Just like a Picturesque Norman Rockwell painting. The town was originally called "Frendship" However, the current name "Pine Apple" was given in 1852 on account of there being pine and apple groves near the town site. There is a lot of cool history here that is worth a read if your like to research American history. Long Long time ago, before my other Grandfather died, he used to live here. I remember coming here as a child. My father recently bought some hunting property near his fathers old estate. He's never been happier. My brother is also in the process of moving over, right now.
