The vets here are great to work with. No appointment is needed. Just remember they are closed 12:30 to 1:30 for lunch.

Absolutely love, Dr. JONES!She and her staff adore their fur baby patients, and it shows in the level of care and attentiveness they provide. Never imagine taking my baby anywhere else.

This is the only place I will bring my pets for care. My dog was recently hit by a car and broke her femur bone. She is doing fine now. Thank God!

We love our pets, Barron and Layla like family so to find a veterinarian like Dr. Jones and staff that understand that and want to provide the highest level of care available for our two babies is a blessing. Layla is now 13 years old and has always been treated at DeKalb Animal Hospital. Even now as our girl suffers with pancreatitis and a worsening heart murmur. They are there with the care and support we need to make the right decisions for Layla. Thank you Dr. Jones and Staff!!

If I could give a negative star I would.Firstly I will start off I have worked as a vet tech in Georgia for 2 years, I know the ins and outs of a office and how hard it can be. However there is absolutely no excuse for the attitude and snarky comments I received today. When I moved to fort Payne last year I made dekalb animal hospital my new vet for my 5 dogs and 7 cats, I have been in the office a uncountable amount times in the past year with no issues. I have a extremely large property and a wonderful LGD that is out during the day and in the house at night. A good hearted neighbor picked him up off my property thinking he was a stray and brought him to DAHI seen a fb post for him just a few hours after coming in from trying to find him. My husband was at the vet waiting for them to open to pick him up, he was met with not only a extremely rude receptionist who proceeded to tell him some odd number of people have came and claimed he is also their dog. My husband had all his vet work, his microchip information, rabies & pictures of us with the dog and his collar visible. The receptionist still refused to give him any information about where he is or how we can get him back. Only that the people that brought him in would be contacted and they would assess who he belongs too. There was no for sure he’s coming home to us no I’m so sorry no compassion at all, I called probably 20 times before finally someone answered the phone to speak with me and it was the same answer. I personally came to the vet and as I walk in the girl is already rolling her eyes and every word out of her mouth was sneer and snarky. The vet called me with the same attitude but finally says yes he is your dog and we’re contacting the people that have him. No contact after thatI got him back through the lady finding me on fb viva post and commentsShe was in the process of talking to someone else that was on their way to get him when she found my comment. Had this vet had her way my perfectly healthy, up to date on vaccines, neutered, no mats and MICROCHIPED dog would have ended up god knows where. Thankyou dr jones for reminding me exactly why I no longer work in a clinic. The day it becomes more about ego and money is the day you should retire. I hope I caused enough of a scene that you find better ways to deal with lost dogs being brought in, maybe just maybe they’ll have a chance of actually making it home. Not that you or your staff care obviously.

Wonderful staff who helped us in a semi-emergency situation with our new puppy. Love Dr. Jess Jones! I've known her for years (since she was a kid) and I'm so proud of her accomplishments!

Excellent service. Excellent care. The price tag was a bit of a shock. But, they were thorough and that's what we wanted. Very friendly office staff. Excellent doctor. Clean. They treated my best friend well, and that's the MOST important thing. Sadly, the expense will force us to think twice, and treat at home sometimes vs being able to take our menagerie of friends in whenever needed. Still, I'm VERY happy with the care we received. Thank you so much to Dekalb Animal Hospital, Dr. Galbraith and their wonderful staff!! Wiki is feeling better, therefore, so are we ? And, the bill was fair for the services we received. I will definitely recommend you to friends. TY
