It's been 35 years ago now, but my first time I went to this shop was in '86 when I was a really young and dumb kid. I had lost the front blade sight on my Nylon 66 and stopped by on a whim... I couldn't believe it but HE had one!I've used him ever since and he's done me really well.

One of my favorite places to stop by on a Saturday. He's got great prices on firearms and ammo. He'll also give you a very fair price if your selling or trading a firearm. I've bought and sold several guns to MR Hughes even i don't buy anything I can end up just staying and talking to Mr Hughes for several hrs

I went to 6 gun shops looking for the Glock 19 gen 5, and this was my 7th stop. I think he was the only gun store in fort Payne who had what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Good ammo prices, and friendly environment. I will be back
