Petro Travel Center in Gadsden, AL on I-59 at Exit 181 is a great place to stop for a quick in and out. It is a good collection of Alabama souvenirs and ready to fuel any trip with Shell gas or diesel 24/7. Guests can grab fast food at Starbucks, Popeyes, or Hunt Brothers Pizza, which is noted as the best. The facility offers sparkling clean and pretty clean restrooms, though they are a bit outdated. The shower facilities are very good, having been fixed up nicely, though some note they need good care or repairs. There is plenty of parking, with the size and convenience being definitely always good, including 162 truck parking spaces. Professional drivers can relax in the driver’s lounge, weigh in at the CAT scale, or visit TA Truck Service. The travel store is available to stock up on grab-and-go meals, snacks, and drinks. The area has been cleaned up well, and the staff is nice.
Great place to stop! I was traveling from Birmingham to TN & needed to grab Starbucks for our grand daughters. Loved that it was attached to the fuel stop & I could get everything done at only one stop! Quick in & out. Lots of parking.

What is definitely always good at Petro is the size and convenience of parking. But the showers already look like they need good care or even repairs.
