  I'm not one to give a negative review but I'm beyond fed up with Gardendale CVS. I have had multiple issues with CVS but most recently I drop off my prescription to be filled. Instead of telling me they don't have it, I'm told to come back in an hour and it will be ready. When I come back they tell me my medicine is out of stock and will not be in for 2 days. I asked for it to be transferred and they tell me no because it's already in their system. I will have to call my doctor to have him call in my prescription to another pharmacy. I called my doctor and he is unable to just call in my prescription. I would have to take off work to go see my doctor to have a new prescription written. I've sucked it up for 2 days waiting for my prescription and now I was just told they don't know when it will be in and can't give me an exact date of when it is coming in (Maybe Friday). Honestly- if the pharmacy could have just let me know that they didn't have it in stock so I could have brought my prescription to another pharmacy to have it filled I wouldn't be this upset. Now I'm suppose to jump through hoops just to get one prescription filled and I find it absolutely ridiculous! I have always used CVS pharmacy where ever I have lived but after this whole ordeal with Gardendale pharmacy, I will be looking for a new pharmacy.

  My children's insurance only allows us to fill at CVS. Every time I go into this store they're extremely rude. If they say 30 minutes, it's at least an hour. I personally fill at Walgreen's and never have an issue there. Today I was told 30 minutes, 30 minutes later I was told 30 more minutes. I asked about the prescription since my daughter is in the car postop. We live 35 minutes from the nearest CVS, so it's not like I can just drop her off at home & run back over here quickly. The pharmacist was rude and said they were doing all they could, this is after I heard them tell another gentleman 30 minutes and he was waited on in less than ten minutes.
