Gardendale Dollar general by hibbetts is actually one of the nastiest Dollar generals not clean not friendly store manager. He would not let me return anything there because it didn't come from that store. He was accusing me of having a faulty receipt I had bought in Pinson, Alabama because I was shopping in that area and the Trussville area and I live out this way and I was just wanting to return it because it was the size. I would like to talk to the main owner of Dollar general about the rudeness of the store manager

Two cashier options. One guy who seems to really hate himself, one old lady with two teeth. Both are very good at hide and seek because I can never find them.

Very inappropriate for one of your employee to wear a shirt at work that says f off and I didn't use the entire word that was on his shirt

At the register, the cashier only bagged part of my groceries. She appeared to have no intent of bagging my 2-liter bottles. She started playing on her phone. After I bagged them myseIf, I said something about it to the cashier. Her manager who was standing right there seemed oblivious. I would not recommend shopping there.

Rudest cashier ever was mad at is because Cokes ring up incorrectly, threw the receipt at us.

The last 3 times I’ve bought milk from here it has been spoiled. There’s always carts full of things that need to put on shelves, i imagine that’s why the milk is always bad. There’s never anyone up front- self check out is the only spot open. If you need dry food items, this place gets the job done but i won’t be buying any perishables from here again.

The register hasn't worked for at least 4 days now so they are only accepting payment with cards. I only had cash tonight & I had no food in my house. I do not have a car & this Dollar General is the only store with food in walking distance. I walked there just to be told I STILL could not use cash. Between the entire stock sitting on rollers in the aisle & in front of almost every shelf instead of being on the shelves, they now can't seem to get this store a register that works. WORST DOLLAR GENERAL I'VE EVER SEEN! The friendliness of the employees is probably it's ONLY saving grace!

Cashier wouldn't come to the front. Customers having to use self check out. You get a weak thank you from the office area. Today (08/25/22) was my day off, I shouldn't have had to work for DG for free.
