Ok I just opened an account with them with my last $35.00 dollars and once I found out about all the extra hidden fees (less than 5 min after I opened the account) I walked back in & asked for my money back and was told it would take 90 days to get my money back. FSCU are crooks that don't have feelings like normal human beings. BEWARE!!!!?????????

Money was taken out of my savings account over 3 months ago. Still haven't had it returned to me. Every time I call about it I get a different story and am given the run around. No one there is concerned that money was taken out of a savings account from an ACH withdrawal. So beware! They do not care about you or your money and information. I was even hung up on by them when trying to ask about it.

Always can get in and out quickly. Staff is typically friendly and helpful only had one or two cases with staff that doesn't work there anymore or they were rude but now every time I've been in the past year or so we have never had any problems. Would recommend.

my family and I had run into substantial medical bills, so bad in fact that I had to withdraw from my 401k. so I went to deposit it so the branch on 72 in Madison. they told me they were going to put a hold on them because they were insurance checks. I told them it was from my 401k and I needed the money. I have been banking with them for 7 years! never overdrew my account or had any issues. they told me that fidelity was an insurance company and policy is to put hold on insurance company checks... I would not recommend banking with them, I will no longer bank with them.

Terrible place to business particularly for minorities. Run from this place, they are arrogant, unfriendly, and extremely biased bigots. I never ever missed a payment on anything even during COVID, but found they reported me to a credit bureau for late payments. After supplying my whole history of payment records and filing a complaint with the credit union review board, they finally removed it and acknowledged their failure. They refused to take any action until another oversight agency looked over and investigated the records. They continued a Red Flag note on my account for no reason other than to remind them of my complaint. I paid my final balance on my vehicles, got my titles, and closed the accounts.

These guys are completely inconsistent with their policies. One teller will tell you one thin while another will tell you something completely else. I'm guessing that's what I get for going with a CU instead of a bank. Not regulated the same and complete lack of character. Stuff your money in a mattress, because you would be better off than dealing with these people.

I went in a few weeks ago to open a business account and the young lady kyleigh was so patient and very helpful . She informed me that I didn’t have everything I needed to open the account but she told me what I needed and where to get it . So long story short I came back today with everything I needed and she was glad to help me and she remembered me. Old fashioned customer service 5 star service.

Opened a youth savings account for my son back in 2014-2015. Called today to close the account, only to be told that my minor son has to authorize the closing of the account. I was also notified that they have been charging the account $10/month for inactivity and the account will automatically close once the account reaches $0 balance. Asked if I could get that in writing and the rep advised she’s have to connect me with a loan officer. Why would I need to talk to a loan officer to get a piece of paper on MY account? What kind of Tom Foolery is this place? I should’ve known better since they’re a local entity.

Open the account about a month and had problems .So today one of the teller tried to get money from me 100.00 The branch manager told me I had to close my account threaten me to be ban i am the victim i had to Gardendale to her to come up with my money so sad unprofessional people wow only reason this star came up in order to leave a comment stay away .

Love love fscu and their rates. Rita is the best. She is fast and thorough. My husband mentioned the credit union because he sold cars and his company sent credit request for loans to them. He noticed that family security pretty consistently had lower rates. So i gave them a try and Rita came through. We've since financed 4 cars with them and every time they had the best rate, even on extended warranty that I've used 3 times with this last car i bought. Ive thought about refinancing my home since all mortgages do no have PMI there as well. Give them a try. I've referred 2 coworkers who now finance all their cars through them as well and i just referred another coworker.

I began dealing with Rita at FSCU many years ago because the car lot I was dealing with suggested I try them. Since then I have refinance all my car loans with them and paid several off. I have also had a few unsecured loans with FSCU. They have always been great to deal with and beat the other rates I had found. Dealing with them make you feel like you're dealing with real people.
