“Great shop, I brought my car in as a complete random customer off the street, and they put on parts I brought in. No warranty of course since I brought them in, but they treated me with decency, I'm green as can be when it comes with cars. They explained a few things to me. They worked within my financial means. I've sent a family member that way since, and they had a wonderful experience there from what I've heard.
I wasn't able to afford the full repair, due to the afformentioned financial issues I was having at the time, but I don't hold that against them it's a business. They're most certainly a family business if that matters to anyone, and I would go to them again in the future. I recommend them to everyone in my neighborhood since they're just down the street, affordable, reliable, and honestly they seem like they care about people.”
“We were living on a prayer with our old tires. Wes and his team welcomed us in, gave my grandson a fidget spinner for entertainment and had a brand new set of tires on our suburban in about 40 minutes! He was so kind and even accepted our payment over the phone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“We traveled from Maryland for the Thanksgiving holiday and needed some work done on our Volvos prior to driving back home. The owner Alex, waited for us to arrive although it was near to their closing time. Once we arrived he was efficient and knowledgeable about our cars. Repaired the Volvos and made sure sufficient air was in our tires in record breaking time. We drove back to Maryland without any issues. Great place with exceptional service! If we lived near Birmingham Alex at GTech would be our only mechanic!! Two thumbs UP!!”
“I took my newly purchased 328i in today, and the owner was friendly and honest about my belt needing to be replaced eventually, but mentioned that it is not urgent. He fixed rear lights, which he mentioned didn’t work because of a bad ground connection. The price was reasonable for my oil change and lights!”

“My son's car broke down on Campus. I called Chase after 10 pm and I'm so thankful he was able to meet my son, diagnosed the problem and got his car running again. 5 stars all away around!”
“M&B transmissions are the most honest mechanics we have encountered in years. My 2019 Toyota Avalon had been serviced by 2 local
Toyota dealers who have probably robbed us for years. We always ended up paying more than recommended service when we took our car in. After being told that our car needed a new transmission ($10000) or we could trade it in on a new vehicle, we had had enough. I told them my car had NEVER had any transmission slipping or missing until they did a flush that was recommended. M&B diagnosed my car and reset the computer codes and said they found nothing else wrong with the car. We have been driving the car for a week now with no trouble. And they charged NOTHING. That is honesty and we will be going to them for all your repairs from now on.”
“I was referred to Aamco by a customer at Pep Boys. He spoke very highly of them and I knew I needed to have them check out my vehicle. Upon walking in, I was greeted by Mike and he was super attentive to my needs. He thoroughly explained what he needed to do and got to work on my diagnostic immediately. Once the problem was identified, he got numbers for me and called me back like he said he would. My transmission was replaced within a few days and I am back on the road again. My experience was very smooth and I would recommend their services to anyone. Thank you Mike and the Aamco staff.”
“Had a reductant tank (DEF) fault in the middle of a 800 mile trip and called J&S. They got me in immediately and back on the road in less than 15 minutes! Great service!”
“I have been trying to get my 2009 Blue Bird All American bus factory air conditioners to work since I purchased the bus several years ago to build a Skoolie. I was getting very frustrated after paying two other repair shops to diagnose and fix the problem. However, after paying for the work, the air conditioner would always stop cooling after running for twenty-thirty minutes.
Last week I was driving the bus from Ashville to Greenville, NC when the afternoon temperatures hit 95-97 degrees. It was too hot to continue driving and I pulled over and turned on our Pioneer mini-split to stay cool while I researched who might have the proper knowledge and experience to finally get the bus air conditioner working.
Inside the covers of the evaporator units, I found the name (MCC) Mobile Climate Control, Inc. I was then able to locate authorized dealers and service centers across the U.S. It took me more that five hours of making calls to repair shops in the South East before I discovered W.W. Williams in Birmingham, AL. James Latham, W.W. Williams - Customer Experience Supervisor, took the time to listen to the issues I was having and was able to schedule me immediately. I went out of my way driving from Atlanta to Birmingham, but I had confidence they could fix my air conditioning system.
As soon as I arrived at the repair shop, the diagnosis work was started. A few weeks earlier, I replaced all four roof-top condenser fans and washed the condensers. Still, one of the new condenser fans would not power up. Pete, the air conditioner tech. discovered the fan control switch on the rear roof-top unit was malfunctioning. After determining the switch was not needed and not worth the time and money to replace it, I agreed to have him rewire the fan directly, protected with fuses to turn on/off when the system was activated. This fixed the fan and ensured proper air flow through the roof-top condensers, but still did not keep the system from shutting down after running down the road for twenty minutes.
Initially, it appeared that the non-working condenser fan was causing the high pressure switch to activate and shut down the compressor. This, I'm sure was part of the problem, but there was still something else going on.
Because the high and low pressure readings were as expected, the real issue was not obvious. Pete pointed out that the bus air conditioning system requires 14 pounds of refrigerant per the information for the system located in the rear engine compartment. The only way to verify the weight of the refrigerant was to pull it all out and test for leaks in the system. It was determined to only have 6.5 LB which was 7.5 LB short. This shortage was apparently causing the low pressure switch to activate and stop the compressor. After filling to 14 pounds, the air conditioner continues to blow cold air and problem solved.
I am quite certain the other repair shops (unrelated to W.W. Williams) did not actually weigh the refrigerant, but relied only on high and low pressure readings.
In my experience with school bus and motor home repair shops around the country, it is rare to find one that will follow through with customer service.
I am fortunate I found W.W. Williams of Birmingham. For the first time, I finally got the result I was looking for. No, I did not need a whole new air conditioning system. I just needed a repair shop I could trust to get the job done in a friendly and efficient manner.

“Mike and his technicians did a superb job on rebuilding my transmission on my '95 Corvette. It has been almost 2 years now, and it gives me no trouble; actually drives like a new car again. I recommend his shop to anyone I know who is looking for a transmission shop. And, another thing, they are fast and your vehicle MIGHT spend 2 days maximum at his shop...Great turnaround time !!!”
“I can’t say enough good things about these folks. Fair price. Great people and solid work. They did me better than anyone else around would have. Highly recommend. I won’t be going anywhere else from now on. They repaired the front end on my 2011 Silverado 4x4.”
