I went into the side door area where a employee Ms. Sandra addressed me as that I couldn't walk-in in on that side. After I left two other customers came in behind me and I stopped my vehicle and she let them in. Then she also let a paying customer leave out that same side. I am paying customer just like the other three customers that she showed favoritism to. With no problem being that's the store rules. I drove and walkedin on the other side. I walked down to where she was and and she gave me a nasty attitude remark uuuhhhhuh. Do for one do for all. I felt very uncomfortable and uncertain about shopping there and coming back. You'd think that me being a woman she'd let me that time of night instead she let two other men in and let a woman out on that same side she wouldn't let me in and used me to enforce Walmart's store policy.

Do NOT ORDER PUCKUP HERE!!!MY DAUGHTER went for her pickup and when she got there they sent her another message saying it would be delayed two hours. She rode all the way home that took 30 minutes and they sent her a message saying it was ready. She went back and sat in line for almost two more hours after they had called her and told her it was ready. These people do NOT know what they are doing clearly. They are idiots. No management would allow such foolish people working like this. The pharmacy is just as bad. Unless you pack a lunch don't go here to pickup anything.

I've been here a plenty of times for a pickup order and every time I come to pick up I'm always sitting here for 40 minutes or longer and when I try to check in it always says technical difficulties this store is ridiculous the doors deserve to be shut cause Gardendale Walmart is garbage it's nonsense workers have attitudes that I don't like and should not have to put up with it DOORS DESERVE TO BE SHUT. REALLY BAD SERVICE . SHUT THE DOORS

I love the WalMart in Gdale. But, this has bee worst experience ever. I went by WalMart pick up to "pick up" an order for my mom. Bae and I waited an HOUR for an order they said was ready. AN HOUR? And, still no order. Their excuse was we are working on it to get it to you. Huh? Pick up at Gardendale needs to be put on halt. If you need to come to our WalMart, keep it old school. Go on in and get your stuff, yourself. Ridiculous!

So,...I understand being underpaid and understaffed..however, if you don't have enough help to make grocery pick up work..then cut back on amount of people taken in each time slot..this is a management problem...I placed an order to coincide with me getting off of work but got a notification that my order was delayed about 10 minutes after it was supposed to be ready..tried calling..left mssg..no response..so went to WM..noone could tell me when it's be ready..another person who was a doordash driver said she waited 2hrs for an order...was told by employee they'd email me when it was ready....I live 45 minutes away.. canceled my order...wasted alot of time and energy.. not a happy customer

The worst experience ever with Walmart pick up services! Thank goodness this is not our normal store! We came here because they had an item in stock that other Walmart's didn't have. The online order pickup was insane. Only 2 people working and about 20 cars waiting. They weren't using the mobile check-in.... They we're going to whichever car was closest to them first! Another customer was so upset they got out of there car and stared yelling and putting their hand in the employees face because they had been waiting over an hour. Never coming here again.

The store inside is clean enough, and fairly organized. The employees were nice. But the rating here is for their online order / mobile pick-up option. We tried the online pickup here and were very disappointed. It took FOREVER. And we were not the only ones. We ended up hearing another customer yell out that they had been waiting over an hour for someone to bring out their order. We ended up waiting close to 30 minutes, which is a little ridiculous. Don't come here if you are in a rush.

Gardendale's Walmart Grocery pickup is abysmal. I had to cancel my pickup order twice due to it being delayed outside of their pickup window of 8PM. Last time, I was informed that my order was ready at 7:56 PM. Drove down there for an employee to tell me that they are closed. It was 8:06 PM. He proceeded to tell me that their team worked over three minutes to show good customer service for their last customer, of whom I assumed arrived mere minutes before 8PM. The pickup team must have really been stretching it for those extra 3 minutes. No one answers the phone after a certain point either. I nor the customer service representative could get Gardendale on the phone. I am bringing this to the immediate attention of corporate.

I came to the Gardendale Wal-Mart to get some sheet straps to keep the fitted sheet from coming off the mattress. I couldn't find anyone to help me, so I had to go all the way down to the garden center and asked a cashier. He told me to look in houseware. I did that too. Still, no one around to help. Gave up and went on and checked out the dog food we needed. I have 12.00 left of my gift card and once that is spent I will not be returning to this store. BTW the website said they were in stock, but to no avail, Gardendale is the worst Wal-Mart I have ever been to. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy.

I have been visiting this Walmart regularly for 9 months now and it is consistently under-stocked on even the most basic grocery items. Another unfortunate issue I find with this location is that the inventory reported on the website for this store is very inaccurate. I was told by an employee that I should never use the website as an indication that anything is actually in stock. I hope their service improves as this is the closest to my house.

If I could give zero stars, I would. There is zero customer service at Walmart. There's no one around to ask for assistance. If you happen to see an employee, they never know the answer. My daughter and I walked around for at least an hour trying to find an item she was told was sold there without any luck. But that isn't the worse part. When we finally gave up and decided to checkout, there were no cashiers checking out customers. The ONLY option was self-checkout. So we had to scan and bag all of our items (I had a lot). I scanned and my daughter bagged. Excuse me Walmart, we don't work here!! I usually avoid Walmart like the plague and this is why!!

Only gave 1 star because I cannot leave 0 stars. Joined the new Walmart+ club and placed my first order for delivery. Put in my order for grocery delivery and have been waiting for hours as my alloted time was between 4:00 and 6:00PM. Finally called the number on the email I received and was told that the Doordash driver decided not to deliver my groceries after arriving at the store. Let me repeat that, Walmart is using Doordash to deliver orders for Walmart+ orders. The Doordash driver left without delivering my order and Walmart was not aware that the driver decided to leave without delivering my order. So Walmart is using a second company for its deliveries, but it has no way of tracking if the orders are being delivered or if they have even been picked up. Yep it's 2020 and one of the largest retailers in the world does not have a system in place to track customers orders, pickups and deliveries. Ultimately my wife had to go to Walmart to pick up our groceries which defeats the whole purpose of the Walmart+ membership. I will be canceling my Walmart+ membership immediately and going back to Publix for my groceries.

I do not like going to Walmart... I want to make this real clear! I needed a headset for work as I'm working from home, so I had go come here . This was the only location that had the headset in stock I needed. When I placed my online order , I was under the impression that I had to show my photo ID to pick up my order per the email order confirmation . After going to customer service area, they were helpful in telling me exactly where I needed to go to retrieve my online order. The pick up kiosk area was really bright and easy to navigate. I was able to scan my order number barcode from my phone and my order came right out! I love and appreciate the ease of this process - it was amazing! From the parking lot to the inside , this location was really clean and I was really satisfied with this ever-so dreaded Walmart visit .
