This pharmacy is always so kind and helpful. I have been traveling in the area 3 different times and needed help with meds. They come to my rescue each time . No drama or excuses, just excellent service. Always kind and courteous. I can not say enough good things about them.

This pharmacy was quick to offer help when, on vacation, I had forgotten to bring along my blood pressure meds. I needed 5 pills to finish out the week and was in touch with my doctor's office to get a new prescription for a few pills. But this pharmacy had a policy to offer a small number of pills if I had a prescription that was still active. They gave me an interim supply of meds to carry me through the remainder of the week. Their service and helpful attitude solved what could have otherwise been a fairly big problem for me. I was impressed and pleased with everything about this encounter.

The CVS inside Target in Gulf Shores has the best staff! They are quick and efficient, but also listen to concerns and try to get to the bottom of the issue. They always make filling my prescription a breeze.

On November 1 I had a prescription filled that require me to take a total of five pills a day each one is 100 mg. My prescription was filled to take one pill a day. Luckily I was not an elderly person that may not have realized it by of course trusting their pharmacist. I on the other hand noticed call my doctor to verify that what they told me was in fact the disease I said! Then I called the pharmacy. First they tried to make it seem as though it was my fault. Then they tried to make it the doctors fault. Then after being on hold for a while they said they owed me 400 pills! They never admit it it was their fault just that they owed me 400 more pills. And still trying to get these pills 10 November and I still have not received them I have had every excuse in the book. Called my insurance who informed me and insured me that yes those are my pills. Finally having had enough I called CVS headquarters to which they rectify the problem and prayerfully I will be getting my medicine soon.

On 1 November I had a prescription that was supposed to be filled. My doctor sent over a prescription for me to take a pill one in the morning one at noon and three at night. CVS wrote the prescription for one pill a day. Someone pick the prescription up for me. When I read the prescription I was in disbelief. The next morning I called my doctor verified the prescription and called the pharmacist. They insist that they wrote it out right and I was wrong. I asked them to please review the prescription and they placed me on hold to which of course I was disconnected. I called back was placed on hold for quite a bit of time. They came back said yes the The prescription did read what I said. Never admitting their fault. But they told me I couldn't get the rest of the prescription until the 17th. I am now going out of town and trying to get the rest of my prescription. I spoke with my insurance and they gave me an 800 number for CVS to call and they will give them a vacation override no problem. CVS said they cannot call! I called that 800 number they said they will have no problem with approving it. I called CVS again and they said they can't approve it because in the state of Alabama this drug is a controlled substance a class five controlled substance which applies to cough medicine and stuff. So now they insist they have to call the Alabama state board to get approval from them to give me pills that I've already paid for which by the way I can get in just a few days but unfortunately I'm leaving before the 17th. I have never ever seen a pharmacy that was not willing to immediately rectify their error!!!!! It is unbelievable their attitude and their unwillingness to help me they will not even try. I informed the 800 number that they have to call about all the stuff in the Alabama controlled substance law and they said they have no problem approving it they have the authorization. I am so flustered and in disbelief that the pharmacy does not have their patrons best interest! Never again!

CVS in Gulf Shores is quite deserving of a 10. Everyone at this location is professional, yet caring. The team goes out of their way to make sure your medical needs are met in a timely manner.. My Doctor in Atlanta even complimented the staff, and stated how refreshing to deal with an organization who cares about patients. I would say that is a positive review, when a Medical professional notices. You guys are the best...

My friend and I were out of town and she was having breathing issues. Stopped in Target and went to the CVS pharmacy. She had to call her doctor to renew her inhaler but she walked out with her meds. It was literally a lifesaver.

There is no spot for no stars. Worst thing that ever could have happened. I will be switching pharmacies as soon as possible. You certainly did not earn the one star I had to click just to get this to post.
