NOT DOG FRIENDLY!!!! We were in Gulf Shores from Cincinnati and Googled pet friendly restaurants in the area. Lulu's came up and it was listed as dog friendly. We took our little 14 pound dog in a stroller to the restaurant. They immediately said dogs were not allowed in the restaurant and that they did not have the staff to seat us outside. We said fine, took the dog back to the car (it was April and only 60 degrees, cloudy and windy, she was fine) and went into the restaurant to eat. When we were done eating I went to the car and started walking the dog in the parking area. The same man came out and said, "no dogs are allowed in any of the buildings". I told him I was just walking her in the parking lot and had no intention of going into any buildings. He was EXTREMELY RUDE!!!!!!!!

Horrible horrible place to eat. If you like deep fried everything or cold food thats supposed to be hot…then this place is for you! Bad part was… we waited an hour and a half for food! So angry! All the fried food tasted like old smelly grease that needed to be changed out (IYKYK).

So let me start with the food it was the best part and surprisingly good. Now the arcade was not worth the trouble if you got a kid maybe but half the machines didn't work. We waited for ever to be seated but once we were I will admit it was great food was amazing.

We've always loved Lulu's and will always go back every time we're in Gulf Shores. However, we could only give 3 stars on food this time because our food was completely cold. Our waiter made up for it because he was AMAZING and very attentive to our needs.

Waited and waited and waited for food. Then, we asked waiter and told that they had dropped two tables worth of food and had to recook it all. 1:40 minutes from the time we ordered to when food delivered. Had to remind waiter we had appetizers as well. Then, one of the kids orders was wrong and had to wait another twenty minutes! No manager or anyone offering us an explanation. Will never go back. Waste of a complete evening of our vacation. On the flip side the singer was great and entertaining. He is the only reason we waited things out!

I am surprised this place manages to stay in business. Went there on a Tuesday night at 5pm. Were told it was a three hour wait. Ok. So we got on the wait list and went to the Track across the street. Two hours later I get the text. However we were currently in the middle of an activity which we had to finish. Apparently they only give you 10 minutes to present yourself or they give away your table. I even called, explained the situation and was told to hurry. So we get there and no table. However, they did some rearranging and did accommodate us. Points for that. So we get led to our table. The chairs are all raised. Extremely heavy. And they have this weird lip at the front which caught the back of my legs all wrong, causing me to lose circulation and my legs went to sleep from the knees down in about five minutes. We ordered the crab dip and crab claws. Do NOT order the claws! They were totally dry and overdone. And not much flavor. The dip was average. Points to the waitress for keeping our beverages full the entire time. My son said his chicken tacos were just ok. My daughter liked her jerk chicken sandwich. But since we are on the water, I opted for seafood. Big mistake!! The oysters were terrible. Chicken of the Sea brand out of a can are better. The corn meal fry batter made no improvement. I also got grilled shrimp. They were coated in an obnoxious salt that I couldn’t even scrape off. Again, overdone. Couldn’t hold a candle to Red Lobster even. I went for the blackened mahi vs grouper. Yet again, dry and overdone with highly salted coating. The coleslaw is shredded cabbage and mayo. Really? Up your game. The hush puppies were flavorless fried dough balls with bits of corn. The fries looked appetizing. But after just one bite, I couldn’t bring myself to consume more. The Gouda grits actually had good flavor and consistency but they were barely warm. And they were the first item I tried when the food came to the table. This restaurant should be embarrassed to serve food this poor. The live band was nothing impressive. The experience was NOT worth the hype. NOT worth the cost. And definitely NOT worth the wait. I definitely plan to return to the area in the future, but I will AVOID this restaurant entirely in the future and certainly do NOT recommend it to any unsuspecting traveler to the area. There has got to be decent seafood around here somewhere, but it most definitely is NOT this place!

We loved Lulu’s! My son has sever allergies and we have never had a restaurant take it as serious and safe as I do at home. They have a manager take the order. They put his name and allergies on the ticket and they cook all his food on a separate special grill. The manager double checks everything in the kitchen and personally brings it to the table. It made me as a mom feel very comfortable and my son felt like everyone and a little extra special. We will definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: So many fun activities for the kids.

Food was excellent service was on top of it refills were never asked for just refilled. The allergy menu is pretty amazing the process they go through to make sure there’s no issues is far above any place I’ve ever eaten at. Hats off to your entire team! Also hats off to the Easter bunny for making it in today to entertain the kiddos!Dietary restrictions: They have a full allergy menu along with protocols that’ll make you feel at home and in good hands
