My family and I barely go anywhere or do anything so I was stressed about getting a good hotel to go with our stay in Alabama. This was the best hotel ever. I had everything I could have needed and the staff went above and beyond. I can not stress enough how happy I was.Rooms: Room was fully loaded. Dove liquid soap, pot and pans, plenty of towels, toaster, stove top, dishwasher, full size frig, plenty of pillows, two tvs, free bag of ice...

We just completed a three-week stay at the staybridge in Gulf Shores. We have no complaints. We had a great stay. The staff was awesome. Special kudos go to Rebecca at the front desk, Gerald who was at the front desk and worked the socials. He was great. He certainly went above and beyond. He is really suited to work in a place such as staybridge. I can see him being in a management someday. Such a hard worker and pleasant personality. Tyson, who worked the socials and in the hotel was also awesome. You have great cleaning people. There is one lady who I don't know her name but she was had blondish brown hair and she had been there for 15 years or so. Ian, was also awesome and so polite and helpful. Carmen was also great and polite and helpful. They were ready to help you at the drop of a hat and do anything they could to make your stay pleasant. There were other staff members that were just wonderful but I don't know their names. Overall, you have a wonderful staff and they have great attitudes and work hard and make our stay there great. We want to come back next year and possibly for a longer time. All of our expectations were met. Breakfast was great. Dora was also awesome in preparing the breakfast and keeping it filled and clean. She had a wonderful sweet attitude. We also were happy to talk with the manager, Mitesh. He seemed very interested in what we had to say and in making things pleasant for the customers.Again, thank you so much everyone for your hard work and for the great stay we had at Staybridge in Gulf Shores. We’ll see you next year! Keep up the good work!Marti & John

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last week and we absolutely loved it! Our room was spacious, airy, and clean. We also got to use the full kitchen in our suite and their free laundry downstairs which was awesome! Their breakfast was good especially their fruit selection. The evening reception crew's service was fantastic! They were so welcoming and friendly. They also did a great job with the Christmas decorations!?❤️ (Sorry I didn't get their names?). We highly recommend this hotel.

I kept on having to recode my room keys on a constant basis. Hotel needs to include the keys in a anti magnetic cover if possible. If your key gets to close to your cellphone it will wipe out the door code. When you have your hands full you often put everything in one hand thus the cellphone wipe. Very fustratiting if you just came in from outside on a long car ride needing to use the restroom inside your room! Also during the first night saw a big ol cockroach! My wife called the front desk wanting to talk to management. Instead was givin the phone treatment with noone showing up. They informed us that this was a Palmetto Bug, not a cockroach. I googled "Palmetto Bug", I guess it's a different variety of a cockroach lol. Besides that you see I gave this place a four. Mainly due to the rooms being great, very comforatable bed, nice kitchen. It was very clean besides the one time bug incident. Also went off season and got some great prices.

The place is tucked back behind other businesses. However, the place is very nice to stay! The only downside is that there is no real view from my suit.

First I'd like to start off with the positive, the staff is super sweet. Generally seem like they care. However, we will not be back, which sucks because the hotel has the potential to be amazing. The 2 bedroom suites are amazing. The problems were just too major. The first night we had to take ice cold showers, unsure of what was wrong but there was no hot water. Thankfully the next day we had some, the lady was going to move us but the other rooms were booked. Then as we were packing up to leave we seen the deal sealers. Underneath the couch which I failed to check night one,(we throughly make sure we dont forget things)was trash from previous people. Then we seen a dubia roach and it was crawling on the fridge. Thankfully we leave in an area they can't live but I've never been at hotel where we've seen bugs. I approached staff and they were like yeah we treated so now they're coming out to die. Had it been our first night we would've left but here it was our last night. So off to home to make sure we shake off our stuff just to be safe, we like souvenirs but roaches aren't on our list. We have also prepaid to do a time share potential tour with ihg, I'm thinking that's going to be a hard no because this was crazy. To think we paid over 700 to stay the short weekend in roach infested, dirty hotel.Reserve at your own risk.*I have photos of the roach as well if it let's me post.

Beautiful hotel and pet friendly! My only complaint is putting pet people on the 4th floor! That's rough when you have to get out in the middle of the night. Delicious breakfast options. Happy hour a couple days a week; would like to see that every night! Great stay, overall. Thank
