I have had an account with Woodforest for about 18 years. I have always had good service at every branch I have banked at except my current branch, Gulf Shores, AL. Today, I came in to make a very important deposit at 220pm. There were badly spelled and ungrammitical signs in at least 2 places stating that all withdrawals had to be ATM, and no deposits could be made. I had a VERY important deposit to make. The girl that works there was sitting at a desk in the corner (as they always are), looking very uninterested. I waited at least 60 seconds for her to even notice me, and she did not. So I walked over to her and asked about making a deposit. She did not smile, she did not issue a professional apology, she did not even greet me. She just said in an uninterested voice that her boss had left and she could not make a deposit until the boss returned. I asked when the boss would return and she just shrugged. I pressed her for a better answer than that, and she said maybe about 3, but she didn't sound very promising. I only had limited time, so I came back about 10 minutes till 3. The signs were down, but no boss had returned. She was still at the desk in the corner staring off into space. I asked if she could at least sell me a roll of quarters. Nope, she couldn't do that either. So I left, and my very important deposit is still not made. Now I have to take my limited time again and come back in. This seems like such an unprofessional situation, and one that I never expected from this bank that served me so well for many years, until the past year or so. If you can't depend on your bank. who can you depend on? . The whole situation is unacceptable, but this girl's attitude made it even worse. If she had seemed the least bit interested, I may feel a little differently.

They claim they’re western union didn’t work , like how is that even possible? They didn’t want to take the time to do it.

My husband and I share am account. We love this bank . It's open 8 days and till 6pm . Can't beat that.

I got there at 5:30. They were hiding in the back until 6:00 and then came out and announced that they were closed. Wouldn't have been so bad except they refused service to the three people behind me in line as well.

When they first opened, they were great. Very competent and great customer service. Recently, since the original staff has moved on and these new ones are in place; I've never experienced such horrible customer service and incompetence. They're nice but only about half the time.

Ridiculous!!! Out of all the year I've been banking with you guys I can't get a answer on the phone from gulf shores or fairhope. Nobodies in to answer the phone to at least ask me if I can hold. I'm switching banks! Well finally got a hold of Courtney at your branch and she was no help. She didn't even try to be proactive but she did put me on hold for ten minutes so I guess that is something.
