Celebrating the arts throughout Marshall County, Alabama. Mountain Valley Arts Council (MVAC) was first incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1970. Since that time, numerous changes have taken place in the operation, but the mission has remained unchanged: “to aid, encourage, advise, and correlate all activities dedicated to the promotion of cultural arts in Marshall County, Alabama, and neighboring communities, as may be found feasible, and to integrate such activities into the total life of the communities served by MVAC.”
I love my visit to the Mountain Valley Arts Council. Love seeing the work of Alabama artists. The staff members were very friendly. I even got an opportunity to hold an Oscar. 💐
