2 people in there and were clueless where the road atlases were or if they had any or to help us look. Thank goodness they had 3 when we found them. The guy checking us out was nice enough at checkout but disappointed they were not helpful

Average store in its category. However VERY CONDESCENDING male associate. Got by him though. Go in knowing what you wan .. I heard the same associate condescending to a lay who wanted information. I was just glad to leave!!!!!!

** .66 or 66 CENTS to print 2 pieces of paper black/white print. It wasn't even a full page of either one RIDICULOUS!!!
*gotta put in a security code then scan your phone and get your debit card first. I MISS THE DAYS OF GETTING 2 PIECES OF PAPER AND PAY THE CASHIER. It was much easier years ago.

Thank you to young employee male gentlemen who helped me. The girl just walked off, I was standing there waiting for her to return.
Otherwise I would have been standing there forever. Thank you to the nice young male employee.
Staples makes you scan your phone for every single pieces of paper and run your debit card for each paper..FIRST.
I WILL NOT BE BACK!
...Over 2 stupid papers that wasn't even a full page.
What happened to simplicity, speed, and good customer service as a whole?
Staples need to bring back printing like it used to be years ago.
If it's not broke dont fix it!!

Purchase of laptop was handled by Associate Colby, he knew the products, how they worked, advantages and disadvantages of each. Advised me on which would best suit my needs with straight talk. Purchase was made without stress because of his knowledge and willingness to speak in human terms so this Neanderthal technology person could understand and not made feel like dummy, just someone that has lived 8 decades and has not quite caught up with all the modern devices. Would recommend Staples as they are polite, knowledgeable and very easy to work with.

I tried to get business cards made- the same cards I’ve had made here a dozen times, with one small change in text. First, they couldn’t pull up any of my previous orders because it has been awhile since I last ordered them. Understandable. I then tried to give them the names of coworkers that I knew also used Staples for their cards, but they could no longer pull up any other Staples stores, only their Guntersville location. They said the best way to do it would be to get a physical card from one of my coworkers and bring it back. I found some of my old cards, so I took them in. The only difference was that I needed a few words changed. The employee said he didn’t know if they could do that or not, which frankly confused me. I told him if they couldn’t, they could just remove said text, but he didn’t know if they would be able do that, either. The person that would know had just left for the day. At this point, I had already made a few trips up there, so he wrote down my name and number and the changes needed and said she would call me in the morning to let me know what they could do and discuss quantity and pricing. I’ve yet to hear from anyone and it’s been over a month. Beyond ridiculous.

If you have an email attachment to print they make the process ridiculously difficult. They insist on self service even though employees are right there and available. The employees are friendly and want to help but they have to follow managements rules. Not a customer friendly establishment. I do not plan to go back - ever.

Guntersville always keep their good employees. I have purchased engineering drawings for the past 10 years and Ashley has always been their best print manager. She should be given some better opportunities at Staples when an opening occurs.
