After reading other reviews, I decided to put my 2 cents worth in. We have been with CIS for around 7+ years. My personal experience with CIS has been awesome! We went through a bad period of time during COVID but they helped me & my family to get back on top & I am most grateful for that. From my point of view they seem to work as a family, are helpful and take the time to listen. I definitely would recommend CIS, especially if I look for a new home!!

They ran my credit 2 times. They never called to tell me I was approved I had to call. The lady was rude when I called.

I’ve never had a late payment with any company—until dealing with this bank. They consistently fail to send out statements in a timely manner, and I often receive the statement and the late notice on the same day. Despite this clear issue on their end, they continue to charge late fees and act as though the fault lies with the customer.
Their customer service is not helpful—instead of listening or addressing the problem, they attempt to shift blame and use aggressive, dismissive language. Most frustratingly, they’ve now reported a missed payment to the credit bureaus even though I have still not received a proper statement for that billing cycle.
This kind of treatment is unacceptable. A bank should act with integrity, communicate clearly, and take accountability when systems fail. If you're looking for reliable service and fair treatment, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere

CIS made the home buying process simple and quick. Brooks Clark and Jessica Tucker were always there to help and answered all of my questions quickly. Would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

There's a lot of people I'm going to try and save with this review. A year ago, we financed our home with this company. Immediately while trying to get things rolling, the woman working on our loan was throwing up numerous red flags. The first was several repeated losses of important documentation which resulted in us having to resend them. The second was half way through the signing process, we were told we needed more requirements. After signing, they tried to say we did not provide the right requirements for the loan and refused to give us the certified documentation we needed to tag our home. The woman I called and spoke with cussed me like an absolute dog when I tried to talk to her about what was going on. She apparently did not like when people stated facts and had proof to back them up. We also requested a date change at signing, which was agreed upon and assured paperwork would arrive within a few business days to sign and handle. A year later and 12 on time payments later, we still have not reviewed that paperwork and have been repeatedly harassed and ignored by the people in this company. We filed a report after the first incident and now I whole heartedly believe they are retaliating due to me reporting them. From beginning to end, working with this company has been the worst experience I've ever had to deal with in my 29 years of being alive. I truly hope anyone reading this had enough sense to see the good reviews are from well off people who they don't discriminate against. We worked hard to get what we have and I will not be put down by a company and it's employees just because I didn't buy a 300k house. If you're a little person making it day by day to have a home, do NOT come here! They stick up their noses at you like you're less than them. I am currently waiting to be contacted by HR to file another report. What a nightmare.

Great experience with CIS! They worked with us to get us what we needed. However, they did move our mortgage to another company in which I was not happy about at all. Either way, they did help us initially but we may would’ve reconsidered things if we would’ve known they would move/sale the mortgage to another company.

I have had my auto and homeowners insurance through CIS Insurance Agency for several years now. The employees are always willing to answer any questions I may have and do not mind to shop rates for me when my premiums rise. The customer service CIS Insurance Agency offers is like no other!
