I don't understand why these places of business allow people to bring their pets inside the store if it's a service animal that's different but the past three times I've came to pick up my prescription medications I have seen dogs of all sizes in shopping carts and they clearly aren't service animals! I came to you the manager and pointed this out and you ignored me and that's why I am leaving this review and changing where I get my prescription medicine from now on this is disgusting and you are in the wrong for allowing it to happen!

Big business bullies. I went to my local CVS recently and was told at the window that CVS would no longer be filling my prescriptions because I don’t exclusively use their pharmacy. I want to support my local small businesses as much as possible, for many reasons, but the main reason being exemplified by this interaction. When I asked why, I was told it was “for my safety “. (Incidentally , her notes on the bag said “ check to see if she wants to move her other prescriptions here”, and not “we won’t sell to her if she doesn’t get the rest here.”That’s what we call a CYA). Since CVS is clearly monitoring where I get my prescriptions filled, I would like to know how my safety is an issue. It’s not. The prescription in question is Vyvance, which is already a closely monitored substance, and one I have been getting from them for years. I obtain it legally, I’ve never abused medication, and I find it insulting that they would think I would buy that line about “for my safety “. The real issue is they don’t make money just selling me Vyvanse. I was told that my local Mom and Pop needs to suck up the loss if they’re making money off my other prescriptions. I would like to point out here that I have also supported this CVS in many ways other than prescriptions. In the early 2000’s, CVS corporate called me to personally thank me for being the customer who spent the most with them that year. I have gotten many prescriptions filled over the years when we were sick, or if Mom and Pop are closed, so it’s not like I don’t give them business, it’s just that they feel they are in a position to bully since medication is something we can’t do without. I will never shop at any CVS, ever again. Publix is a big business that also supports local communities, so that’s where my trust with go henceforth. I will however, use my platform to tell as many people as possible about how CVS doesn’t care about small businesses in the local communities. I’m honestly shocked that this practice isn’t illegal.
The staff at CVS are friendly and accommodating. The employees aren’t the problem, it’s the corporation. Let me say that again. The employees aren’t not the problem. They are doing what they are told. And what they are being told to do is the reason why Mom and Pops struggle to stay alive after big companies move in. It creates a situation where the small businesses get muscled out by big businesses, then they have to close their doors and go work for the big business, but for different wages completely. Shame on you CVS. The small guys don’t deserve this.

Old run down store. Ice cream freezer doesn't work. Everything was all melted in the entire freezer. Do yourself a favor, go to Wally world. Or WDG.

Everyone here is very kind and helpful. Becky, Emily, Sarah, and Kelsey always remember everyone by name. I pick up for my mom and sister and very rarely myself and they know who is who.

You know it's a shame when you call to see if your doctor got your prescription called in and they can't answer the phone. What has this world become no one wants to work and you can't get them to answer a phone. I just don't understand why this company can't answer the phone.

I love my CVS. They are so good to me, and once I figured out how to use online access, I was amazed. It's so awesome, everything you need, right there at your finger tips. I do wish my store had delivery but I don't live far away so I can manage. Becky, Emily, Sarah and Kelsey feel like family to me, the other pharmacy staff I've not yet got their names in memory, but they are all great. They always remind you when vaccines are needed. With Hanceville CVS, I have peace of mind, that's priceless. Thank you all, for all you do. Sincerely, Karen Watson
PS. I wish people could understand the pressure these employees are under. They serve such a vast number of people, issues are bound to happen, but I know they work hard to fix the issue. These guys are great, but they are not miracle workers ..

Pharmacist was rude and didn’t order a very important medication that I needed. I was trying to get this taken care of early in the week because I was having surgery later that week. Even though the order came in from my doctor on Tuesday it wasn’t ordered and probably wouldn’t have been if I hadn’t called to check on it Thursday, which is the day of my surgery.

The pharmacy there is full of liars. I normally would have gone to the Veterans Affairs office for my medication but I just had surgery and decided to go to a local pharmacy rather than travel to Birmingham. When i went to the pharmacy, they told me that they applied a discount for medication the VA always covers. Turns out they lied and didnt apply any discount. I've gotten medication with my VA benefits before and I was not charged. This pharmacy is full of LIARS, LIARS, LIARS. Instead of being honest and saying there was no discount or that my VA benefits dont apply there, which i know it does, they LIED. Since they are so comfortable lying to customers about matters like this I will be reporting this and giving them as much of a headache as I can.

Used to be a good place. Now they have messed up my refill schedule and 2 of the employees were rude to me. They told me I should have been out of my medication months ago, yet I am not. Then they tell me I never picked up my meds so they got sent back. I am on their text program and never was told I was suppose to pick up anything. They have not a clue. How can I be out of a med 3 months that I have to take 2 times a day? I will tell you.....Im not, but I will be. I have picked up everything I was told was ready. I need my meds now I cant get the insurance to pay for them due to their mess up.
