If I could give Hayden Post Office a lower star rating, I for sure would. This is the absolute worst post office I have ever encountered. The postal carriers are the laziest employees I've ever dealt with. They never deliver packages. Packages never even get put into the vehicle for delivery, they just mark them as "Delivery Attempted" and never return. I recommend reporting them to the Post Master General every single time this happens!

For over two years I never had a Problem, but then I wanted to send a package to germany. I payed over 90 $ and it came back three times after filling the Form with the employees. I ended with sending it from another post office and it was in germany after 6 days ( I think they filled it out the right way). I asked for my money back and nobody answered my Emails. If you are a foreigner don't go to the Hayden Postoffice, they try to make money for their own wallet.

Worst mail service ever. My mailbox is in my driveway. When I get a package instead of sitting it beside the mailbox or in front of the back door by the way where she turns around. It is wedged in the mailbox and I had to almost rip apart the mailbox to get it out. There are many more incidents I could mention the latest being a package arrived at the PO on Tuesday and I still don't have it. Yesterday a very polite young lady told me it was out for delivery. Yesterday afternoon. I called back and got someone else who said she would research and hung up on me. Called this morning got same person and she sais it was delivered. Then hung up again it was not. Now when I call get recording that phone is disconnected. DO YOUR JOB IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET ANOTHER ONE!

Aug 3 2023, my mail man delivered a package and some mail to my house and it was as severely storming, so I just want to give a big thank you to the grey/silver Honda suv for doing a great job. ??

They won't deliver a 10" x 8" x 8" package says its to heavy and won't fit in the mailbox. They say it's oversized so you can't request a redelivery. They are doing this on purpose and you can't do anything about it. Most worthless mail delivery service I've even seen.If I could get my regular mail through FedEx or UPS I would.The FedEx guy brings a 40 pound bag of dog food to the house from chewy and you can't bring a box with my wife's makeup in it. Completely worthless!!!!!!! Hey google we need a half or 1/4 star option. They don't deserve a full star.

Terrible payed extra for signature delivery to make sure I would be home on date of delivery, driver drove right past my home and marked it undeliverable because he didn’t want to get out of his vehicle on a Saturday.

I wish I could give negative stars for the mail carrier that is supposed to deliver packages to the front porch. Every time I get a package she is placing the package on my vehicle next to the road instead. Seems the USPS is not hiring professional people that are willing to do the job correctly.

I ordered a package and was home all day and these lazy drivers did not even try to deliver the package. When I checked tracking it says they tried to deliver and no safe place to leave it. Which is a LIE!!! Every single person needs to be fired. If you are to lazy to do your job, then quit. Someone needs to read the reviews and do something about it. USPS Hayden is a sooty excuse for a post office.

If I could give zero stars I certainly would. This is the most awful post office I have ever had to deal with! I have lived in 4 states and multiple cities. I have never phoned a post office anywhere except Hayden, AL. Everyone I talk to about this post office feels the same way I do! They keep your packages for days and have even sent mine back before. I have to call so frequently to get them to bring my packages to my home. They then often put them in the grass at the bottom of my steps. I do not have dogs outside either. It does no good to pay for expedited shipping or memberships for two day shipping because most of the time they will not promptly deliver! I am very frustrated and tired of having to deal with this on a regular basis. I am not sure how it happened but their phone got disconnected too! At least on 6/14/2022 it was. I have filed a formal complaint with the post master and reported that their phone was disconnected. I doubt this is going to help, but maybe it will. My dogs have to eat special food and I have to order it. They have held my package for three days now and I am almost out of food. I probably will be by Tuesday! Monday is a Federal holiday! This should not be able to happen! They can't keep blaming COVID. They just need to fix the issues!! Maybe if more people would file complaints something would be done. If I leave a review it is always good. I am not one to leave bad reviews. I would rather commend good service any day of the week!

I just moved to Hayden and have to say I'm not impressed with the mail service. Why am I getting "sorry I missed you" tickets, when you made NO ATTEMPT to even deliver my package. I know this because I was home all day unpacking.That is your job correct, deliver our mail, which includes packages. Now I get to go do your job and pick up my packages from the post office. Thanks for the big welcome USPS.

Instead of bringing my packages to my door, they left me 5 different slips saying I had to to pick them up or they were returning them. Is it really that hard?

They don’t even deliver anything anymore…I watched the person drive right on and figured out that they don’t even load up the packages in the mail trucks. They force you to go to the post office which is ALWAYS CLOSED…who closes at 4???
