Called to have my prescription filled to pick up, and I called at 2:10 pm and the guy told me that they would have it ready within an hour after my call.
That never happened. I arrived to pick it up after I got off work and it was just after 4:30 pm and I arrived at the drive through.I was the only one in the drive through. The guy that was at the window said that it wasn't ready and they didn't have the medication in stock!
At that rate, I should have been told that when the guy told me he would have it.Ready!
He said they would have to fill it. They should have already had it filled because I was already told it should have already been filled. So what is the problem with this misconception? And uh, negligence on not filling my prescription?
It should have been waiting for me.I was trying to hurry and beat the weather which is coming in now.
At any rate, I called back as I was heading home to address the situation and the girl starts defending it. Trying to blame somebody else, and the fact is, they're all responsible for the failure of not having it ready!
And what it boils down to is very poor customer service!
I worked a twelve hour shift as a customer service agent!!!
If I did that, I would have been fired. My job would have been terminated!!
All I can say is shame on them because they they provided very poor customer service and I still did not get my prescription yet. They wanted me to come back.
When people work 12 hours, they don't want to sit there and wait. That's why I called ahead!
They need to do better with their customer service. They need to replace these people who think it's okay to, push people away and make them wait. It's not right at all. And that's not acceptable, no matter how they try to portray it!

They told me to sign up for text alert so I would no one reedcation came in. I received alerts for several weeks. Saying my medication was delayed. What a woman to Walgreens today they told me they did not know why I was receiving those messages. I had to answer 2 questions of theirs. One was if I had my medication filled there before. And if I know they can only do it one month at a time. They have my records and didn't need to ask these questions. But apparently that put a delay on my medication. So I have been without it for 3 weeks because of this.

They take way too long to fill prescriptions. I wouldn't waste your time there. Just go next door instead.

USE WALMART RX DRIVE THRU NEXT DOOR
Lied to multiple times by different people.
Update 1.19.25: so I was told a couple days ago when I went to the pharmacy to pick up my son's prescription, for a second attempt. It was filled December 25th. I asked them what pharmacy is open on the 25th and why would we leave the house just to get a prescription. They said they called me back after they figured out what's going on. No call back. The doctor called in the prescription twice. I just went up there to get it, Jan 19th. I ended the new insurance card to the lady working at the drive-thru because my employer switched prescription insurances. She gave me a price that was 10 times more expensive than what I normally pay. So I asked was that through insurance. She said yes. It was never put through insurance. I just looked.
I got a message from the Walgreens app saying I could pick up my son's prescription and tell January 6th. The text message was on the second of January. When I arrived the 4th they said there's absolutely nothing for him. Today is the 9th and I double-checked with Walgreens. I said they have had absolutely nothing for him. I just called the doctor. They said we sent it over just like we did the last two times and we see it sitting there waiting to be filled with the pharmacy. This is a medication my kids can't stop taking otherwise there's withdrawals. This place really needs some management check.

I've had so many problems with this pharmacy. I'm not sure how they are still open at this location.

My mom came and tried to pickup my prescription and they told her it would be like 15 minutes and then I came here 15 minutes later and she told me it was going to be an hour and then I was like no my mom just said it was gonna be 15 then she told me to come in and it would only be a couple minutes. NOT TO MENTION they did not ask for my insurance they tried to make me pay for it. They are liars.

They lie about when prescriptions are sent in and ready. They are so rude. They are lazy and act like they hate their job. If you want to lie about serious things like this, try and find a better and easier job specifically made for lazy people like you. Lying about not having someone’s prescriptions in is very serious and could potentially be life threatening. DO NOT GO HERE if you don’t want to be lied to.

I was there well before six and their store process caused a delay. Pretty poor customer service! This was at walgreens Hazel Green AL store.

I usually don't post reviews, but this is absolutely ridiculous. My father was diagnosed with cancer that progressed to a terminal state, and we need his maintenance medications from this location. My mother also needs important medications from here as well. I have never dealt with people more rude and stand-offish in my entire life, and as someone who works in customer service, I've seen a lot of people. They are not only rude, but they never fill the prescriptions when asked, and if they so fill them, they're random medications that we don't need; and we need some of those medications. Of course, sometimes it isn't inherently their fault, there are complications with the doctors and the pharmacies, but their negligence in dealing with these problems is beyond insane. There is no excuse for this type of behavior, and I really hope people are able to go and find a better experience somewhere else.

They don't know what they're doing!!! I was constantly waiting on my prescriptions to filled. I'd call to refill and one person would tell me I didn't have no refills and another would tell me something different. They told me I didn't have no refills on a prescription that I knew I did so I changed to Walmart Pharmacy and they had all my prescriptions ready. And be prepared to wait for 30 minutes in the drive thru.
