Absolutely Disgusted by the Service at This Dollar General.
On Wednesday July 23rd I went to the dollar general My mom simply wanted to place a very small stack of her business cards next to the other four piles that were already there. A blonde woman with glasses, who looked to be in her late 40s, was immediately hostile and wouldn’t even let her put them down. It didn’t stop there — today someone approached me in public and told me that same woman has been throwing away my mom’s cards behind our backs. My mom is just trying to grow her small business, and instead of showing basic kindness or professionalism, this employee treated her with unnecessary rudeness and disrespect Small businesses rely on community support, and behavior like this actively hurts people trying to make an honest living. I’m appalled and will not be returning to this store. To make matters worse, she kept repeatedly calling my mom “sweetie” in the most demeaning, condescending tone — as if belittling her while refusing a simple, harmless request. Dollar General, please do better.

It's a good and simple store, and the cashiers are usually nice. Well managed, too.
