About Marathon
Marathon Gas offers more than just fuel, featuring a variety of food options and friendly service. Customers can find a buffet-style restaurant inside, serving good food including southern-style dishes that are flavorful and visually appealing. The restrooms are very clean and appear recently remodeled, though some reviews note they are small and not well maintained. Staff members are consistently described as friendly, helpful, and accommodating, making customers feel welcomed even during early hours. The gas quality is praised as excellent, with some joking about winning races after fueling up. Visitors also appreciate small thoughtful gestures from staff, such as providing bags for snacks. Overall, Marathon Gas combines quality gas, tasty food, and friendly service, though the building and bathrooms could benefit from some updates. It’s a place that surprises with its welcoming atmosphere and good amenities, making it a notable stop for travelers.
