I haven't been in a dollar tree in a while. I actually walked through the entire store. Found some things I did and did not need.

This occurred Sunday night at 7:41 10/29/23. I was heading into the store to purchase some goods and notice an employee lock the door after a customer exists. I take a look around inside while waking up to the door and notice other patrons are still inside shopping. I pull on the door twice, meanwhile another store employee walks to the cash register, she sees me but does not come unlock the door. Pull again and she ignores me. Very poor customer service if you can call it that. I would terminate any employees that were privy to the ill conceived actions of the employee that locked the door during this shift a whole 20 minutes early. Now I don't know if they thought I was a coupon captain about to take up 30 minutes in a Dollar Tree just wanted a few things real quick. Now they upset me to the point of writing a review. If you don't fire the ladies on shift for their actions just please train them. As a matter of fact....please train them. Other employees attempted to shop in the store but were hindered due to the actions of terrible employee. Do better!

PLEASE READ !!!' Service is very Unprofessional and after bringing this to Management attention today there was still Unprofessionalism by her( Kelly). Assistant Manager Gissel was very Unprofessional Thursday afternoon with customers. Laquita had a line of 9 customers prior to me and customer behind me for quite sometime. When line had 4 in front of me Gissel appeared and opened a new line and 2 customers suddenly appeared quickly( running motion) in line in front and they conversed in Spanish and smiled and chuckled. I asked why did she take them in front of other customers that stood in line for quite sometimes? With intonation and gestures she addressed me assertively and stated she did not know them and she just opened a register. The customer behind me interjected and reassured her that she knew the customers and opened the line when she saw them. I am not sure if proper charges were charged to the customers for items they purchased and why she decided it was an appropriate practice as An Assistant Manager to allow customers that had not been in line to go before others. I asked her what her name is and she said. "Gissel and you probably can't spell it." I was utterly disrespected by her comment and assertive behavior. I left the store and went to my car and then returned for a refund. I was given A Cash Refund and had paid with my credit card. I told them to have a nice day as I departed the store and Gissel said , " We will now since you are gone." Her behavior was Very Unprofessional. I prayed about this since Thursday and pondered over the incident. I called yesterday to speak with Management and was told ( by Gissel) she had left for the day. Today I went to personally speak with Management and was told Gissel had called her Thursday evening and told her about the encounter. I had asked to speak with Management in a private place yet she escorted me to the end of a register near the balloon rack and we stood and talked in The Publics View. I asked her what is the procedure or policy in place for excessive lines and opening another register? Kelly shrugged her shoulders and stated , " there isn't one and different cashiers do different things and she didn't see how that was wrong." I am writing this review for all to view the Unprofessional and Unfair Practices and Treatment of Working Class Citizens and the acceptance of Management. I asked Kelly for District Managers name and email and was given a first name and no email. This has to STOP!!!!!!!'

Wide array of affordable items. As usual. The staff wasn't particularly helpful or friendly. But, hell, it's the Dollar Tree. If ya don't know where it's at and what it costs by now, then you probably never will. Viva The Tree, Baybee. Long Live The Tree!#CantBeatTheTree

I have come here multiple times and they have had the doors locked over an hour prior to the posted closing time. If you have operating hours posted you should honor them. If not, change your posted hours.
