This is one of the worst Lowe's in the area. Customer service is horrible. The employees do not try to help. They are rude and lack the personable attributes needed to serve customers. The selections are not varied enough for the location, and the employees can't help find anything seen online.

This store is conveniently located and has a wide assortment of products. Although the online count and actual store count might differ, this is still a great place. The staff is friendly and the hours are great. Good value, and really enjoy this location.

we bought a brand new stove in October of 2022, May 29th the whole board went out on it. Finally today June 16th we finally got it fixed. they claimed the only repair man was in Athens. and he only comes to the shoals area one day a week. we asked for a loaner or another stove, but nothing. They were very rude when I went back to talk to them about it. so beware before you buy any appliances from Lowe's. No more for me.... Because they definitely do not stand behind what they sale.

If you need an appliance, DO NOT PURCHASE from LOWE'S!!! We purchased a washer and dryer from the Lowe's in Homewood, Alabama a few weeks back. They installed it and the dryer started making a very loud noise. I called them within the required 48 hours that it takes for them to replace it. Spoke to a gentleman in the appliance dept (I believe the man who sold it to us) He said no problem and they would order another one and call to deliver and swap it out when it came in. I waited..... no dryer. Finally, called them today (about 10 days or so later). First, it took FOREVER to get someone to talk to on the phone. Spoke to an associate and then to a manager. Apparently, the gentleman who had helped me is "on leave" and had not made a note of our conversation so they will not honor it. I was then told I would have to call the manufacturer and they will have to come out, if they deem we need a new one, we have to return the dryer ourselves and get a refund and then repurchase. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? So, now it is all on us to do the legwork. Even though I did the required thing and called within the 48 hours. I kept telling the lady this and she refused to believe me. (I wonder why the gentleman is "on leave".....) SERIOUSLY LOWE'S??? CAN YOU NOT DO BETTER?? #loweshomeimprovement #pleasedobetterlowes #loweshomewood

Remodeling kitchen, purchased 3 appliances, all delivered later than expected. One appliance was too large. Returned to store. operations manager rudely told me it couldn't be returned because it has been over 48 hours since purchase. It was delivered 4 days late. They refused to let me return brand new unopened appliance. It's their new corporate policy that they don't tell you exists. Do NOT purchase appliances from Loews. I spent $2500 there and got an appliance that is unusable.

I hate to even give this a 1 star. Worst customer service ever. They will not answer the phone or they will answer after 8 minutes and then transfer you and hangs up. I ordered a washer and dryer. It was to be delivered on a day I took off work and then it was moved to another date without talking to me. I came the day before to confirm and they said they physically put it near the loading dock to make sure the delivery people saw it. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Came to Lowe's Friday night with a friend of mine. She wanted to see if she could find some plants on sale. I for one know nothing about plants and what it takes to keep them alive. So it was so nice to get a little lesson from my friend about all things plants. We did not go into the actual Lowe's store, just the garden shop. So I guess you can say this is a review for the plant shop. There was one employee who was sitting at the front. She was on her phone the whole time we were there. Which can be looked at in two different ways. One that she really didn't care, and second that she trusted us. It was very nice to know that she was not one of those hovering sales associates. Though the garden shop was outside and it was cold, there was plenty of options to choose from. The clearance section had a LOT of dead plants especially trees. Keep this in mind if you are one of those last minute people looking for a tree. We winded up with a beautiful purple plant. She was very happy to have found it. Overall, this was a great experience.

Very poor customer service and management overall! My 80+ parent live in Hoover AL and ordered a washer machine in-store right before the Black Friday. The original delivery date got pushed back several times. Every time, the store promised that my parent would be the next inline to get the washer delivered and even gave the delivery dates but every time it was a no-show. I can understand it is the busiest time of a year for shipment loads but what's not acceptable is the fake promises and fake sales! Their 'in-store order tracking' website does not work. Their online chat is useless, and the phone service takes forever to find a real person... once find someone after 30+ minutes of waiting, they either promise a fake delivery date or transferring me to a manager who doesn't know the answer.

This is the worst organized, least friendly Lowe's in the whole Birmingham region. The lazy, disgruntled, whining employees (not all of them/but frequently encountered) leave me with no choice than to drive to the Home Depot at the Galleria. I live and work in Homewood, but I refuse to enter this store ever again. To the foul unhappy lady perched on a scooter like you are laying in a recliner behind the customer services counter...get a job elsewhere. This is not your skill. I'm leaving a 1star review only because I cannot leave a Zero.

Excellent customer service from Scott the manager, Tyrone the cashier, also a female employee that assisted my husband with finding kitchen sink clips and a gentleman went above and beyond to try to assist me in the paint department. sorry I didn't get the lady's name that helped my husband or the gentleman's name that tried to assist me in the paint department but they both provided excellent customer service. Thank you!

Terrible customer service. The phones either ring with no answer or you go to an automated hold of epic lengths- 45 minutes before I hung up.

Service is sloooooooow and apparently training is nonexistent. The cashier in the garden shop didn't think she was supposed to let us have any of the plastic (on rolls to protect your car) when we bought plants!!
