This might be a long post but here we go! METRO IN HOMEWOOD YALL BETTER BE LUCKY I CAN'T LEAVE ANY STARS, BECAUSE YALL DON'T EVEN DESERVE THE ONE STAR. anyways, June 6 2024 I went into this location (they're the only ones who had the phone I wanted) so I went in to upgrade my phone that I had for almost a year, they told me $300 to go from iPhone to Android. •first red flag•
I told them fine, let me just add a new line and get a number. She said the phone was $29.99+ service (75). Cool, so she tells me it's $176.01.... MIND you I needed a new phone, mine was glitching.. well come to find out after paying that, I went on the mymetro app and it said I owed $157 in 17 days for 2 lines.. mind you online it said I paid $110 for the new phone/service instead of 176 but my card said 176. So I call them today after I had time to process the situation and to calm down.... I asked them why I was charged so much, they tell me "YOU WAS DOUBLE CHARGED FOR ACTIVATION FEE" and y'all didn't catch that during the process of payment? Oh okay. So I call 611 and was on the phone with them for 45 minutes to find out that the phone I got was SUPPOSE TO BE FREE with the 75 metro flex plan. PLUS, I wasn't even suppose to pay an activation fee at all. My payment was suppose to be $85 instead of $176. So, I take it upon myself to go back into the store (I live in sylacauga, they didn't have the phone in stock) after I talked to customer service. The manager wouldn't even talk to me when I corrected him with the poor service. I told the associate that I needed a breakdown of what I paid. She was typing and clicking for a good 4-5 minutes before she finally said "well I can't print it out but here's what it's showing" y'all she charged me 110 for the SERVICE, $25 foe activation and $29.99 for a case that I jever recieved and she also told me she didn't have cases in stock becausr the phone had JUST came out!!! I'm pissed. I got a refund for the 29.99 but that's all. She pocketed my money!!!!! I paid with a card and the manager told her to give me cash back, she wouldn't! She had me scan my card (I used Google pay and my card is LOCKED). IM very heated!!!!!!!!! I will never recommend anyone to this location.... I wish I could take my one star back!!!!!!!!

Staff here are something serious, they told me to cone to the store abs pay my bill and then they was closed 15 minutes early. That didn't happen ounce but twice.
I thought you took money for your business until the store closed. The way they do it at this metroin store the owners lose thousands of dollars weekly from the workers closing 15 minutes or more early every night

I only gave one star so I could give my comments this store has the worst customer service lady or sales lady I've ever seen. She literally said you know what I'm saying or you know 15 times and I do not know what she's saying I do not know what's going on with trying to get a new phone I've had the same phone for 3 years and this lady did not want to sell phones obviously I don't know how they get paid but this was terrible I went to downtown five points I suggest you do too

It should close at 8 pm. I come at 7:30 and they tell me that there is no longer service with the door open

I tried calling and no one answered, then I kept call then someone answered rudely as if I cursed him out. Then I asked about the phone. Yes, he said the phone wasn't there then he hung up and didn't tell me if when was the delivery date then when I called back his response was a I'm tired of you calling hello, instead of feed into that I said when will the phone get there then he say I don't know I can't tell ups to get me my package. So in response to that I told him I didn't ask that either then he hung up in my face.

Overall good experience, but my only complaint is i wish they would have told me about tablet promos. I even asked how much it would be monthly and would have jumped all over the free tablet promo if i would have known about it
