Mi Pueblo Mexican Supermarket isn't just a store; it's a passport to Mexico's culinary heart, right here in our backyard. My family and I ventured in with a simple mission: dried chilis. But oh, were we in for a treat! The moment we stepped inside, it was like crossing the border into a world brimming with vibrant flavors and colorful delights. Every aisle was an adventure, every shelf a story of Mexico's rich gastronomic heritage. The snacks were a revelation - forget your standard chips and dips; these were snacks that danced the salsa on your taste buds! The spices! A dazzling array of fiery reds, earthy browns, and sunset yellows, each promising to turn my kitchen into a culinary carnival. And the meat section? A carnivore's dream, offering cuts and varieties that Publix wouldn't even dare to whisper about. Shopping at Mi Pueblo was like being in Mexico without the flight. The vibrant atmosphere, the authentic products, the buzz of Spanish in the air - it was a cultural immersion wrapped in a shopping trip. I'll be back.

The restaurants inside is amazing. They literally have the best products/produce. My fave spot to go for baked goods as well. They won't disappoint, give them a try.

Love Mi Pueblo and the selection of baked goods and fresh tortillas and meats it has to offer. For some reason everyone stares at me not sure if it's because I am not Latin / Hispanic. I found the staff is nicer and more receptive to you if you at least try to speak Spanish so an hola and gracias goes a long way I was always intimidated to try the food court because of all the stares I get but I fjnally found the courage too. The buffet is good but not great, however what a fantastic bang for your buck, $13 for all you can eat!

Every time I'm in Bhm, AL i stop at this store. The meat department at the back of the store reminds me of, the meat markets back in the day. A customer gets to select the piece of meat they want. They have well stacked tons of vegetables. The shelves are kept stocked and clean. I love that the bakery gives gloves out for customers to use, while selecting cake/donuts/ cookies. All in all the store is well kept!!

This grocery store is tilted toward the Hispanic community., It has some wonderful Mexican food, however if one does not speak Spanish it's very difficult to find the ingredients. It is clean and the staff are nice and very helpful. The area of the location is not good, the parking is on a steep hill and many of the other stores nearby are closed.

Drove 20 minutes just to get someone else fish and the fish I got was totally brown on the inside. Not any sign of freshness...no pink nor red. Just brown. Terrible. I will not buy any so call fresh fish from this place ever again.

Awesome place to get everything you need! Smells delicious when you walk in, the food is delicious, and they have something for everyone, from kids to seniors alike!

What kind of place is this. I like their bread and their roasted chicken. But what kind of buffet is this. Where they serve the worst food ever. It looks and tastes like dog food. The rice tastes and looks like dog vomit. The soup tastes like waste water. The wings look and taste like smoke. I don't recommend the buffet to anyone. Go to Chow Town, or king buffet where they have the best buffet ever. Not mi pueblo.

This store has almost anything you need but if you're not Spanish speaking or they assume you're not they are not going to be friendly at all seems like they would have rather stuck their hands in the meat slicing machine than to have to deal with me. But that's ok ? I don't care if those women like me or not I bought what I needed and I don't have to see them anymore. Life is too short for us to be ugly but they don't get good ratings for friendliness from me!

Back in the day when I lived in Homewood, this location used to be a Food World. Lots of Mexican branded products here. I love to go for soda. There is a strawberry soda I love that tastes like Fanta used to taste back in the 80s. Good product variety at this location.
