One of the best Chinese places you can go in Alabama. They are the real deal! Love it here

This restaurant is off the beaten path and connected to an oriental market. It has a big variety of entree options. As I walked in, I saw people at tables with lots and lots of food. I wondered why there was so much good on the table for two people. Once I ordered, I realized why? The portions are huge. I think every entree is sharable. They have more noodle options than lo mein and chow mein. The other person in my party had the sweet and sour shrimp. They were huge! I recommend the cabbage. It was good. My youngest son loved it with the rice (leftovers). I also had a pretty good craft beer. The server was very attentive and friendly. After lunch, we visited the market. I purchased two green tea drinks that were delicious! It was a pretty good vibe. I think I'll take the family back.

If you are looking for oriental food, spices to prepare at home, this is the place to go. They have a large inventory and no jacked up prices.

It's amazing how quickly a rating can change. We dined here on Christmas Day and I gave them 3 stars. The food at that time was not up to my expectations after reading all of the good reviews. It was okay but had no Chinese/Asian seasoning. Let's just say we decided to give them another try on New Year's Eve and got takeout. HUGE!!!!! mistake. I don't know if it was because of the holiday and all the cooks were tired or they were trying to get rid of food they knew they couldn't get away with serving to dine in customers. No matter the reason, we still paid the same price as everyone else (dine in or takeout). I enjoyed the Green Onion Pancakes before so I ordered them again. They were completely cold, and almost as flat as a flour tortilla. The Mongolian Beef contained not one piece of green onion, which is half of what the dish is about. Instead it was loaded with what appeared to be and tasted liked blanched/parboiled yellow onions and a bunch of jalapeño peppers. It was so sweet it was almost inedible. I added a little water to make some sauce, because it contained none, and cut the sweetness. Next was the General Tso's Chicken. Nothing but pieces of dry chicken breast in a thick breading. Also had the jalapeños and a few pieces of dried red chilies. I swear it was nothing but sesame chicken without the sesame seeds and a tiny bit of sauce, to which I had to add water. Now to the shrimp dish. The shrimp appeared to have been previously cooked with a breading on them, then breading removed and thrown in this dish along with the same style onions as mentioned, 3-4 pieces of green onions about 1" long and some type of sauce. Maybe that's why no green onions in the beef. I was told by my friend that picked up the order that it was stir fried shrimp. None of this had seen the inside of a sauté pan, skillet, or flat top grill, let alone a wok. Another thing I've noticed is everything we've had tastes about the same. No distinguishing flavor, except for Cumin Lamb, which was overwhelmed with cumin. Mongolian Beef was like Sizzling Beef with a bunch of sugar added minus vegetables. My pockets nor my nerves cannot tolerate such outright lack of customer satisfaction. In my opinion, if you wouldn't eat it, serve it to your family or friends, or dine in customers, then don't serve/sell it to me. It's as if they're saying takeout customers are not going to look through orders before paying and leaving. Plus they figure, nine times out of ten you're not going to return the order after you get home. Right now I feel like this is my last visit to this establishment.

Cuisine that rivals Chicago's Chinatown! The Hot and Sour soup was tangy with just the right amount of light heat. Kung Pao Chicken and the the General Tso's Chicken. Both were served hot and expertly prepared. The chicken was cooked to exceed expectations and the vegetables were tender crisp and tasty! Jose provided that good invisible service. He was there when needed and gone when not. Perfect service and support! This was the best Chinese food we've had outside of Chinatown!

Super oriental market is my favorite Chinese in town! Service is quick and the food is delicious!! We go often so I'll narrow down my favorites. 1. Seasame chicken. Can't go wrong. It's tasty, sweet and so good 2. Hot and sour soup. Tangy, spicy, and full of yummy tofu. I love putting a scoop of rice in mine 3. Pork buns. Holy cow. The best. They're huge and fluffy and come with a sweet sauce inside. I could eat about a dozen and feel no shame Food is good and it's fun to explore the shop. We often get candy and drinks there for fun snacks!

The chicken and vegetables was really good! Beef lo mein was a close second, in my opinion. I wasn't a fan of the general tso chicken but I never am. My husband loved it. Service was good and so was the atmosphere. I would pick this place first if we're in the area again.

We Went here last night for dinner and had Mongolian beef. I do not know what I ate, but it was not Mongolian beef! It had a different texture and the taste was so off. I've been coming for a couple of years and the food takes a good while to come out, seem like they were understaffed as well. The worst part is that I had two Mongolian beef's to go for my family if they gave one bite out of the food that was a lot we had to throw both of the meals away.not pleased at all stay away from the beef.

Stopped in the market for some Asian goods and decided to have lunch in the restaurant. Ordered Mongolian beef and Szechwan shrimp. They were served with a large bowl of rice and had just the right amount of zing to them - not too spicy and not at all bland. The waiter was polite, helpful, and attentive. Ambiance and decor were decent. Definitely one of the better choices for Chinese ofood I've come across in town. They know what they're doing. We will definitely return!

The best traditional Chinese restaurant in the greater Birmingham area. I highly recommend going with a larger group (6+) to get a table with a lazy susan and trying multiple items on the menu. My favorites are the pea sprouts, twice cooked pork, mapo tofu, and beef chow fun. The portion sizes are generous and there's a variety of options to choose from!

Pork with Black Bean Sauce is delicious. Service is good but all the food options I've tried so far have been exceptional. It's a place I often visit.
