I've been taking my dog to Banfield for 8 years and the Hoover location is definitely my favorite of all 3 in our area. The assistants go above and beyond to keep appt times and keep the owners updated at all times. The veterinarians are top notch and the absolute sweetest!

I took my Old English Sheepdog in for his annual shots and paid close to $500.00. He was to return in two months for a booster of one of them. They wanted to charge me $56.00 office visit to give one shot. It takes about 60 seconds to administer it and I was not about to pay that vet a dollar a second for her work. It's plain greed. The reason why we have sick cats and dogs is because most of us can't afford to have them vaccinated annually especially if one has 3 to 4 of them. These vaccinations cost Pennie's on the dollar but they stretch the costs to the limit. My old vet who passed might have charged $15.00 to give it but most likely there wouldn't be any charge at all. He was very reasonable. Vets today over extend themselves with a fancy building etc. and depend on us to pay it. I'm a CRNA and quite capable of giving an injection in a dog's neck. When they called to remind me of my booster appointment I said ok but Bentley want be coming. Just have the $19.00 booster ready for me to pickup that I'll be giving the shot myself. They informed me that they couldn't do that and I informed them I'm not paying $56.00. Yes. I am fortunate to be able to pay. I simply refuse to be taken advantage of.

I enjoy taking my kitties to Banfield Animal Hospital. The staff very friendly. One technician gave me a break down of what was going on with my kitty and the price. My favorite part, was seeing my cat's name on the board.Thank you to the crew at Banfield for caring for my cat.

They say one bad apple ruins the bunch! Well, yesterday, in my experience, that was true. I had to pick up some prescription treats for someone and the lady at the counter was nice, AT FIRST. I explained they were out of the treats I was picking up and she was RUDE RUDE RUDE! I went to the manager of the store and explained the whole situation. His name was Coley and he was so nice. It takes one minute to be nice. That's all. I've worked with the public too. You may not always like your job, but be nice. Is that too much to ask?

The staff is very nice and pleasant to me as well as to my animals better than I can say about the groomers in PetSmart, for the pet smart groomers I wouldn't trust them at all .
