I had two tires replaced and suspension work done by Anthony, one of the techs at this location. He is quite competent and very customer oriented. It was a pleasure to deal with him.

Words cannot express how incredibly thankful I was for Austin Tyler, and Daniel at Goodyear! I had an emergency need for new tires, and they helped me find the best fit! They were very professional, and knowledgeable about car repairs!I would absolutely recommend this good year to anyone driving through Hoover!

I don’t normally do reviews however today while traveling I went into Goodyear after being told by my local tire shop Good year would honor the hazard warranty we purchased on the fairly new tires. Only to arrive at the corporate Goodyear store to be told by a shaggy looking white guy that he would not honor the warranty. He said he would get in trouble from the corporate auditors. I asked him if Goodyear wou mind him taking care of their customers who spend 1k’s of dollars on tires. He said yes the would and the auditors wouldn’t want him to assist. After letting him know believe he was lying and if we were harmed looking for assistance he and good year would be at fault he became upset. He then pulled out “ And I have the right to refuse service, so I am refusing service to you sir.” We left to go to Firestone a couple of doors down and they took care of us without the corporate put off at Hoover Al Good Year. I won’t be returning this guy said he was the manager and there was NO one else I could speak with about his attitude a d service refusal. Good Luck Mr Manager I hope corporate Goodyear knows your attitude towards the customers purchasing their tires.

I went in to have my tires rotated and while they were doing that I asked if they could remove my old tire pressure sensors and install some new ones I had purchased and programmed. They were super helpful in installing the sensors but they wouldn’t pickup the signal from my truck. They tried everything but still couldn’t get them to work. I was asked to bring it back in the next day and they would look at them again. Since I had programmed them they kept working with what I had done. I believe we tried another setting but the sensors wouldn’t read that at all. I even went to a Chevy dealer and they couldn’t read them either. I just happened to stumble across a document online about the receiver in the truck needing to be on the same frequency as my key fob. They were not. As soon as that new program hit the tire sensors they lighted up and immediately began working. I can’t than the guys at Goodyear for being so helpful and working with me to resolve the problem.

Slow service and they crossthreaded a lugnut on my tire.
Didn't find out until I had to change it. Had to have the lug burned off.

I usually have something negative to say about automotive shops but I had a good experience here. Got some tires installed and an alignment and didn't have any issues. The waiting area is kind of bleak but that's the only downside I can think of.

On April 24th my husband and I were heading to North Carolina from Mississippi. We got right past Birmingham, Al and hit a pot hole which cause a blow out immediately. It was close to 12-12:30 am in the middle of night. My husband is a mechanic…we own Justin’s Auto Repair in Forest, Ms. So changing a tire wouldn’t be a big deal for my husband to do himself but I have a bmw 528i which has run flat tires and doesn’t have a spare tire. We called road side assistance, the local police, etc. trying to see if we could get a tire and get it changed. They offered no help but a tow. So with us having a run flat we turned around and went back to the nearest little town and when we pulled off the exit there was tire shop right there that was open which was crazy because it was almost 1am so we stopped they didn’t have the exact tire but had one that would work but then wouldn’t change it because the rim is aluminum so we left to go down the road to find a hotel and about a mile down the road we passed a Good Year tire place and the shop doors were open and lights on so we pulled in there and my husband knocked on the door and Steve Henson came to the door he told my husband they weren’t open but they work at night on Amazon vehicles but he said they could help us. They had the exact tire we needed and the team there got it changed very quickly and got us back on the road by 1:30am. We made the rest of the drive there and home with no problems. Steve was great and a huge help! It was an answered prayer! Would def recommend Goodyear in Hoover, Alabama. They helped us when they didn’t have to and we appreciate it so much!

Thank goodness they are open until 7:00 P.M. on Saturdays. I had an emergency two Saturdays ago and had to get a flat tire fixed fast.

I recently purchased a set of goodyear duratrac tires and had them installed. I highly recommend Ms. Sherry had her team. They were professional, very friendly and had the tires installed in a timely manner. I will definitely be using them for my next tire purchase.

I hate to say it but I'm not happy you know I paid for lifetime tire rotation and I came by twice and they were unable to rotate my tires and even when I scheduled an appointment they told me it would take an hour and a half... I don't have time for that I'm going to be calling the 1-800 number and getting my money back.
