I bought new 2024 Acura Integra type S. Within a month I noticed a spot fading on the spoiler. I took it to King Acura and the service manager stated it looked like it was burnt by a buffer. The car had around 2 thousand miles and was practically brand new. I told them the car was new and has never been buffed. The service manager was very rude and absolutely no help. This car cost over 60k. King Acura does not stand behind their products. Also nobody at Acura of North America was any help. They all stated this was not covered by warranty and stood behind the service manager. This was my experience with King Acura. Please use extreme caution when buying a car from them. The car has about 5k miles on it now and the spot keeps growing. Very disappointed.

Shout out to Cole N, #1 salesperson. He was extremely attentive, knew about all the technology in the car, quick to respond by text/email and was not pushy. I have purchased many cars and this was the best experience. Thank you Cole.

The negative reviews about this place are true. I personally stopped by to speak with the service department about a vehicle I was considering purchasing and was treated like dirt. The staff at this dealership was very unwelcoming, uncooperative and rude. After my experience with King Acura I decided to purchase a Lexus instead. Sure glad I did.

I used to have good experiences here until I started having a problem with the sound system and a recall with one of the electronic pieces malfunctioning and repeatedly I took my car in to have it fixed and they never fixed the issue. The issue is still happening and they refuse to return my calls I have called my service person Sonya several times leaving voicemails she has ignored all of them and I’ve even called the service manager. I have spoken with the Acura in Athens where I bought the vehicle and they told me that this issue is covered under warranty and they should fix it regardless of how frustrating it may be for them to fix the problem. Now I’m seeing there’s a recall on the fuel injector pump and the service department was not helpful and said they would charge $160 diagnostic fee for me to come in. Supposedly my car is not affected I’m not sure how they know that when the recall says 2019 RTX. Repeatedly not had good experiences lately with this place unfortunately there is no other Acura near me.

Recently purchased a 3 year old used Acura MDX from King Acura. Very nice car however there was a noticeable rattle that only happened through slower speeds that would occur in typical neighborhoods. (I did test drive the vehicle prior to purchase but only on higher speed roads). I noticed this rattle in one of the rear shocks the following day after I purchased and notified them. I called and brought the car by for them to look at. They agreed there was an issue. However, their (used car manger) had a immediately different tune since the car was sold (within 1 day) and they said they wouldn't help me since I signed. I wish they would be fair and have better customer service on this immediate concern. Pretty much there was no help as soon as they received their money. The salesman was great but the used car manager was not.

I came to Birmingham for the Classic only to find my car stopped in the highway. I had the luck of getting my car towed to Kings Acura. Bill the service tech fit me in and got me back on the rode. Can’t say enough about their professionalism and great customer service. Thank you Rev. Bill

Is this how a 2018 Acura TLX A spec should perform? Have owned Acura's for 16 years. This week every warning light in the entire car alerted after having the car in the repair shop after 2 weeks (not to mention it took King one week to determine I needed a loaner car). Not acceptable! Highly recommend a Mercedes or Audi. Paid 35k for a 2018 and King Acura offered $21K for the trade in. Obviously I was not going to keep the 2018 model after the engine rod had to be replaced and all the electrical issues seen in the video below. Lost $13K on an TLX car owed one year.The team at Acura did their best but but very disappointed in Acura's trade in value. Highly recommend considering another model vehicle before choosing an Acura!! BUYERS:: Please watch the video. Do you want you or your family in an acura with every electrical warning light alerting.I even had to have the Acura towed as my local dealership said this car was "very dangerous to drive". Acura at the least could reimburse me for the tow fee.Update to Acura's feedback: Please check with your service manager. We paid for new belts, and other updates (none of which was compensated) in hopes of saving our 2018. But yet you still charged us. I cannot speak to the prior owners, Regardless of the prior owner(s) losing 13k for a 2023 trade in for a 2018 Acura shows how Acura values long term customers. We are a a family of Acura's our entire life. NEVER AGAIN!ACURA: Feel free to contact me. Im sure I will unfortunately visit your dealership again when I have a complete engine failure and electrical issues with the car purchased Saturday.Also, still waiting on the upgraded floor mats that were supposed to be included when I picked up the car. But of course, you forgot to have them in the car upon purchase. Perhaps your company should create a checklist" prior to selling a new car? Surely this was another dealers fault/my fault per your earlier comment regarding that my earlier Acura car had prior owners and potential issues?Birmingham Luxury Motors dealer definitely did not forget their promises and followed up with several calls to ensure we were happy with our purchase. my first ever review! looked for a sunroof and king Acura is charging a surplus for parts over MSRP. called the other birmingham and huntsville dealerships and they charged msrp saving me over $100. no more king Acura for me. very sad

BROKEN HEART :/ Bought my dream car an Acura MDX Type S. The paint job has serious flaws. They have had my car for 2 months and have not been able to fix the paint job. They refuse to give me a new car citing cosmetic defects can be fixed. Yet they cannot fix it. NOBODY CARES that I paid $75k for a car I have not been able to enjoy.

When I originally rated 4 years ago I loved. Lately the service is not up to par. Im going to try another location in North Alabama to see if there will be some additional attention to the actual problem. The check in and check out associates ARE ALWAYS friendly and helpful which has to be acknowledged.

Acura brand has been in our family for 33 years, 31 of them with King Acura. we purchased 3 vehicles from King Acura (the OG was from GA when we lived there) and have used King for all service on 4 different Acuras. Recently while performing a service on our oldest Acura, it was returned to us with a large crack in the windshield. It took the service manager one week to respond and his response amounted to "so what, too bad and not my issue." 31 out of 33 years with this group, so much money spent there and this is how they choose to treat long standing customers. Highly recommend others find another place to purchase and service their vehicle if in the market for or currently own an Acura. You will not be valued here.

Ive been more of private party person when purchasing cars. I went to King Acura to test drive a specific trim of the TLX. I ended up buying from them. Since my purchase, I had some road hazard issues. King Acura took care of the entire situation through the warranty. There was no haggling, no issues. I wasn’t out a dime. Because of my experiences with the dealership being so thorough and easy to deal with, I’ll forever buy my Acuras from them!

Jefferson was an amazing salesperson. He was able to walk us through the vehicle (its a lot of bits and bops) buy he made it simple and easy to understand. He was also very understanding as we debates color options and gave us a true, behind the curtain view of the vehicles. The financing team was great to work with as well. 10/10… would recommend anyone to Jefferson if they are in the market for a new vehicle.

No one acknowledged me when walking in. I asked an employee for help and he told me he had customers thank you very much. I thought the customer service approach would have been I am seeing customers now and I will be with you momentarily or he could have gotten another employee to help us. He then tried to confront me and get in my face because I told him I didn't like the way he handled me. I would not be back anytime soon and if you do not look like them they may treat you the same way.
