Placed a order online 3-10-2024, (I HAVE EMAIL, to Confirm order,and what was ordered and how to cook it ) was bringing a mistake to the manager's attention, he pointed out that I made the mistake, I don't like to be called a liar, it is the principal with me , please when you make a mistake just own it, be the bigger person and own it,Been trying to place an order through their phone service for the last 3 days for pickup it's been impossible

Edit: I called and finally was able to speak to a manager. The manager bent over backwards to make it right with us and I am happy with how it was handled. I understand they were super busy and I’m willing to try again. The manager made me believe that they too saw the issues and will work to resolve those problems.re: curbside- Horrible! We’ve tried at least 5 times over the past couple of months. Every time it’s horrible. They either leave something out or we have to sit there for up to 30 minutes before they come out. Twice they’ve left out toppings, even after we asked about them and been told yes the toppings are inside. Don’t even bother trying to call, they NEVER ANSWER. This is horrible management, understaffed, and incompetent. They also leave the curbside bags on a counter beside the door, and every person that comes in will touch the bag to see if it is theirs because there is no employee there to help them. It’s disgusting. I’m making a complaint to the health board and contacting corporate. If they don’t know how to run a restaurant without being slow and gross then don’t open a restaurant.

Such a phenomenal experience! Great food, very pleasant and professional atmosphere with exceptional service to top it off! We will definitely be back! Hoover, the manger on duty, is OUTSTANDING!!!

I've eaten at this place about three times now and I gotta say I might just never come back again. My server was great however the manager(s) talk to their employers like they're dogs????? It's absolutely disgusting how they talk to each other and the fact they just are yelling at them while in the dinner room is very unprofessional in my opinion. You shdnt be trying to embarrass your employees while they're doing their jobs and working. Do better outback! Stop letting your higher ups belittle and degrade employees who are working their butts off. Y'all are doing nothing but making outback an uncomfortable and bad spirited environment. My food is usually okay too, but today it must've been picked up late bc it was served to me almost cold ? I still ate it tho and I could've gotten over the fact my food was cold but the attitude and toxicity of the environment shd be absorbed unacceptable !

The atmosphere is very toxic and full of hate. I watched one of, what seemed to be a manager or head of some sort, yell at his employees multiple times over nothing about everything. The words the coworkers exchange with one another when passing and how I watched this manager yell at the busser for checking up on a table. There's just a lot of negativity floating around and all the workers seem to dread their jobs. My food was great but I won't be coming back after seeing so much mistreatment going on.

The bartender was ridiculously bad. She would acknowledge your requests and then just completely ignore them. Asked to have my drinks on a separate ticket from my food, she agreed and then didn't do it. Waited so long for her to return after dropping off my ticket that I just accepted that she wasn't going to do it. Then I asked for a receipt, to which she repeated my request and said "sure". Then she disappeared. I finally just left. Tried to call back to talk to the manager, but no one picked up. Not surprised actually. I hope other's experiences are better, but I certainly don't recommend this place.

Terrible customer service. My son ordered the 6 oz sirloin steak ($16.79 according to the site) from here night before last (2/2024) he gets home, puts it in the fridge and cuts it open the next day. There's blood and bright pink - HE ASKED FOR MEDIUM. No biggie accidents happen, so he called to resolve the issue. He was basically told to prove it. So he emailed pictures to the manager. He got a response saying you got what you asked for and a partial refund of $10.

I would never come back to this outback in Hoover.. I did not have a good first time experience.. the only good thing I can say about it is that we got seated before the time we was told witch was 20 mins.. but one we was seated which was at 4pm our waitress asked us what we wanted to to drink, which was water. She brought us plates as well.. I never been to outback so my mom told us that it was for bread.. anyways.. we waited for our glass of water for almost an hour.. I got the waitress attention and asked about the drinks and asked what was the plates for and she said bread, I said well we got neither and we been waiting for almost an hour. So she said she will go get it..when she brings the bread and water I open my silverware and there is hair wrapped around my fork! ?.. she did grab me another set.. it took almost another 1 before our food was ordered.. it wasn’t really busy in there so I was confused.. but once they gave our food I asked for to go containers.. cause at that point it was late.. it was almost 8:25 when we left now imagine if we would have sat and ate the food there.. mind you been there since 4.. she didn’t apologize for the long wait or nothing.. never will I go there to that location again.

Food was barely warm. Steak was mostly gristle. Cucumbers on the burgers instead of pickles. My husband cracked a tooth trying to eat the macaroni and cheese. Not to mention the server coughing on everything. Would give 0 stars if possible. Worst experience eating out in years.
