Careful they will add services to your bill you specifically told them you didn't want and then charge you for them . Double check your bills and don't just autopay them . They will not refund the money they take from you . Be careful using this company

WOW! Rude and unprofessional. (Soya) So I returned a modem for a friend, I walked inside and stood in front of thee employees who finished their conversation before one finally said can I help you and not in a polite way, I said yes I'm just returning this modem for a friend. "what's their first and last name and address and why are you returning it? I said because they asked me too? I was then told " well she still has another piece of equipment she still needs to turn in. I said okay um can you tell me what you need so I can tell my friend? " No your not on the account" my question is why receive private account holder information from me share private account information with me voluntarily but when asked to state which piece of equipment is still needed I get the " your not on the account story? I don't know if it's the company or employees but WOW!

Spectrum has harassed me since December 2024 for money. I've been paying what I could afford monthly on social security. Everybody knows we've been experiencing high inflation. I was on the ACP government program for my Internet. It's been stop by the government with the last president administration. However I would never recommend spectrum for home Internet service. It goes out a lot also..

It was easy to return the modem for the Internet service that was never able to work at home. 8Mbps instead of 500Mbps. Y'all make sure to test those speed on installation and the day after at peak hrs.
Staff at the store were either hating life or playing on their phones.

The employee team here was STELLAR, and the complete opposite of those at another nearby Spectrum store. They worked together to resolve our issues, swap out our old phones and pre-existing data onto new ones, and displayed patience, professionalism, knowledge, and good energy. Perfect! Brava, team đ

The employees at this store were extremely helpful. The only negative experience was a customer who was in line next to us berating employees. He acted like he was too good to wait in line and then spent the entire appointment making arrogant threatening remarks to the employee that was kindly helping him. If you read any negative review in the next few days about this location, donât listen to him. On multiple occasions, he said âyou donât know who youâre talking toâ as tho he didnât have to stand in line. He also said things like âcustomer is always right, right?â As though that allows you to treat someone helping you the morning after Thanksgiving however you want.
Other than that 5/5 service from above and beyond employees

While my experience at the store was simple, easy, and concise- the outcome is maddening. I signed up for Spectrum when I bought my house (going off of my relatively good experience of their services when I lived at my parents). I got the Ultra Internet with cable services and one cable box. I understand their promotions and that it only lasts a certain time period (I think it's absolutely comical but I guess fiscally relevant to keeping a business in this country). So down the line, I realize I'm wasting money on cable and cable boxes for something I really don't utilize. I call to remove it and I'm told that it will almost double my price if I remove cable and don't add anything in it's place. Seemed odd of why I couldn't just have one thing for a lesser price but naĂŻve me let her add Voice to my package. Check the phone recording of that call because she in no way told me that it was a three year deal in that every 12 months, my bill would increase 10, 15, and then 20 dollars a month. Edging close to just canceling with them all together, I made an appointment at my local Spectrum store. They were efficient and changed it no problem to just Ultra Internet. I was told $64.99 would be my new rate. I'm honest in that this what was told to me. So much that I even asked verbatim "Will there be any extra fees on top of the $64.99?" I wish I had recorded her response or gotten a receipt of this proof because she said NO. It would be $64.99 for the next 12 months. Great, that is all I needed. Fast forward to now, 3 weeks later, imagine my surprise when my bill comes in $10 over what I was told. In the grand scheme of things, yes 10 dollars is just 10 dollars. Until it's every month and then it goes up and up and up. It's about standing on your word and this company does not do that. I called their customer service line today and waited 16 minutes to be told "I don't know why she told you that, I can credit this month but that is all." I got visibly upset because once again, a customer rep is telling me there is nothing they can do and I will always seem to have this issue. Even worse, I could go to AT&T or Verizon and have this same run around until I die. I would just like to have one company that I respect to give me a consistent rate for a product that doesn't change. The service is still the exact same so why doesn't my bill reflect that? This review will do nothing to benefit me as these corporations don't see individuals as anything more than a pad in their pocket but hopefully it will deter anyone from making my mistakes.

First, the store opened at exactly 10 am on Monday. Not the associates fault as that is stores hours and now is the only store locally in the area with the close of Alabaster. Second, there was a line in front of the store as previously on Sunday storms were in the area. An associate opened the door and then announced that if people were there for modems. that they only had three. I was third. Went into the store to exchange the modem another customer then walked into the store and announced they were dropping off equipment as they had to get back to work. My associate then told me to wait so they could assist the person who had to get back to work. At this point I explained that I also worked and arrived prior to this other person. Had they asked I would have been more understanding as it was a woman and I knew that dropping off equipment also meant they would have to pull them up on the computer and make them sign that it was returned. I then told the ladies first she returned all her equipment as she was tired of their service. I got the last modem and was informed all I would have to do is plug it in. I asked in addition to the modem may I have their support line. When I turned around, the line was out the door with people holding modems. Upon returning home plugged in modem. It did not work for 30 minutes. I called the support number that I asked for and their help desk then sent a signal to get the modem started. I had no choice on driving the 15 miles as their support desk told me a replacement would take 2 to 3 days.
