I’ve been going to this pharmacy for years and something has happened and I can’t get anyone to answer the phone or fill my damn medication. 7 days late now.
I am betting this is a larger issue such as corporate not hiring enough staff or paying them properly. Get your business together. We are talking about medication people freaking need to survive. SMH.

Terrible customer service.
I called the pharmacy to verify that my son’s prescription would be ready before they close tonight at 10. It was 6:45PM when I called.
She was extremely rude and cut me off when I was talking and said “WE CLOSE AT 10pm” I said “yes mam, I understand that I just wanted to make sure that his prescription would be ready before then” to which she said “ITS 6:30 WE CLOSE AT 10, IT WILL BE DONE BEFORE THEN” and then hung up on me.
I understand it must be a difficult job to have but there’s just no reason to speak to people that way.

The absolute worst Walgreens in the state of Alabama. After confirming with my doctor that they have my medicine in stock they then turn around to let me know that it is not in stock and it would be a few days before they get any more in. When I only have a 24 hour window to take this medicine When I try to call to see what’s going on after sitting on hold for 15+ minutes, my phone call keeps getting dropped. Never use this Walgreens. They are apathetic When it comes to a work ethic and a piss poor attitude, I suggest using literally any other pharmacy but them

I have to give my pharmacy a shout out. They have been terribly under staffed this holiday season but they have showed up and showed out for everyone. Especially on Christmas. I worked as a dasher to make extra cash and that was the busiest I have ever seen it. They handled it the best they could and got everyone in and out. To the customers please show grace because imagine you trying to take care of 30 ppl at once and it’s just you and your coworkers working fast as you can.

The pharmacy is Awful! Awful! Awful!!!
This location service sucks. I called ahead at 8:00am for my prescription to be filled. I was told it would be ready at 2:00pm. I arrive at 8:00pm. There was no clerk at the drive through window. I wait 15 minutes pass so I decide to call the store while I’m sitting at the drive through window. I asked if they were open the pharmacist said yes I told him I was sitting at the window waiting for someone to appear. Once the clerk came she told me my prescription wasn’t ready come back in an hour. By then it would be 9:00pm. Its pain meds and iam in a lot of pain. This is ludicrous! Absolutely unexceptable . I will be going to CVS from now on! Utterly Ridiculous ! Never come here!

I've been calling the pharmacy all day because of a message asking me to call the pharmacy and after a few random minutes the phone will pick up and then hang back up

Every time I call I get rude customer service. Employee answer the phone, and once she got my information she hung up the phone. I understand they short staff. But this is very unacceptable.

Walk in Friday afternoon, get in the line, and be told to scan the QR code for walk-in vaccination. Step aside, scan, and the system shows walk-in is not available. Scheduled for 7:20 and came back, got in the line, and told us vaccination stops at 6:30. Totally system failure and a waste of time.

I’d rate this Walgreens anywhere from 2.5-3.5 stars, as it’s not a bad pharmacy by any means but has certainly fallen far from grace. I’ll start with the positives first. The layout of the store is nice and easy to navigate, the staff are somewhat friendly and are willing to help if asked, and the pharmacists are knowledgeable enough in their craft. That’s…really about it for the upsides, I’m afraid. Now onto the negatives, for which there are several.
The waiting lines both inside and outside for the pharmacy are absolutely atrocious, with cars sometimes wrapping around the building because of how long it’s taking to give people their meds. Even the retail section isn’t immune to this, as it’s not uncommon to see one or two cashiers providing service to a line that stretches all the way to the doors. To avoid the line for the pharmacy outside, many people choose to go inside instead in the hopes of getting quicker service…only to realize the line inside is arguably even slower than it is outside.
Just last week, my mom went to Walgreens to pick up one of my meds and it took her an hour and a half to return. When I asked what kept her, she said the line outside had stalled and was too long, so she went inside and had to stand in a line that stretched all the way into one of the isles. Absolutely unacceptable. To be fair however, this isn’t really on the employees; there just aren’t enough of them to provide adequate service to the amount of customers that come in. That’s something I want to touch on next.
It’s very clear that the few workers that are on shift are completely overwhelmed by the amount of customers that are coming in, specifically in the pharmacy section. As I mentioned earlier, the wait lines outside are often very long and can take up more than an hour of your time, and this is primarily caused by severe understaffing. I’ll never forget when I called in last month to check on the status of a prescription, and I got on the line with a pharmacist who was emotionally defeated because of the amount of stress her job has caused her. The fact that she was confiding in me, a total stranger whom she had never met, told me just how rough of time she was having on the job.
The pharmacist complained about a lot of the same stuff we customers complain about, pointing out the understaffing and mentioning how hard it was to get people’s prescriptions ready because they were either out of stock or things in the system not working properly (or outright going offline, like it had been the day I called). She gave me a lot of insight into how things were like from an employees perspective, and it made me realize that things are just as rough for them as they are for the customers. Completely outrageous on all levels.
I don’t know who runs this particular Walgreens or how management works, but all of the problems I just mentioned can be solved by hiring more staff and have an easier system for them to use, which will then make the customer experience 10x better and faster. Hope this review reaches the right people.
