I recently visited the SunMed location in Hoover, AL, and it was hands-down one of the best retail experiences I’ve had in a while, especially for someone new and feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the options. From the moment I walked in, the store’s clean, inviting vibe set a relaxed tone, with neatly organized shelves showcasing everything from tinctures and gummies to topicals, all clearly labeled with their lab-tested details. It’s clear this place prioritizes quality and education over hard sells, which made all the difference for me.
What really made my visit shine was Jennifer, the associate who helped me out. She’s an absolute gem, super knowledgeable about the full range of SunMed products and genuinely passionate about matching them to individual needs. I was torn between a couple of full-spectrum tinctures: one for daytime focus and energy, and another for evening relaxation to help with my stress and sleep issues. Jennifer took the time to ask about my daily routine, explain the differences in cannabinoid profiles, terpenes, and even how they might interact with my existing wellness routine, all without any pressure. She broke it down in simple, relatable terms, sharing real customer stories and pointing out the third-party testing info right there on the packaging. It felt like chatting with a trusted friend who’s also an expert.
When I was still hesitating on the final pick, Jennifer went above and beyond by throwing in a complimentary sample of the alternative product, no strings attached. She said, “Try this at home and see how it feels; we’ll tweak it next time you’re in.” That small gesture turned my indecision into excitement, and honestly, it’s got me hooked on coming back. I left with exactly what I needed, feeling informed and cared for, not just like another transaction.

I haven’t been to a CBD store in fire years. I have been experiencing foot pains and stress. Jennifer was very resourceful and informative about the products for my foot pain. Just signed up for the rewards program and I’ll definitely be coming back.
