I absolutely love this location. The staff goes over and beyond every single time. Sam is a great tech and is very knowledgeable. Front desk staff is always super helpful and courteous as well. My family really appreciate you all!

I would not recommend my family or friends to do business with this location. The Manager wasn't knowledgeable about my order and instead tried to tell me it wasn't there. He tried to upscale me for a tire that I had ordered to be delivered to that location. Then low and behold, my tire was in the receiving area and had been there 1 day and it was available. I don't know why his attitude was so unwelcoming but rest assured, I won't do business there again.

I had an appointment for a front end ailment at 11:30 am. when I arrived ( at 11:15) I was told it would be two hours at least before they could get to me. They then told me I would need new tires before they could do the ailment, cost of $1100 for everything. I politely refused. I know you can do an ailment without new tires. This is not the first time I have had an appointment for a certain time and have been put off. I will not give Pep boys anymore of my business, they act like you are a dummy and they are the only place in town.

I took my vehicle to the Hueytown location and was told that the could put me a new alternator on for an estimate of around $350. A couple of hours later I was quoted at $672 for additional work. Wanting my truck fixed I agreed and paid the price on 10/26/2023. Getting my truck back the alternator was making a squeaky sound that the technician said would go away eventually. It didn’t it only got worse over time eventually killing my battery. I replaced the battery again just knowing it wasn’t my new alternator but that battery soon died as well. I then had the alternator checked as it was shown to be completely faulty and not operating. I had it towed back to the Hueytown location and set an appointment. No one called me at my appointment time so I call in to a guy who claimed that the would replace the alternator cost free as I was under a 12 month pep guard warranty. Several hours later he called back and said that there was nothing they could do for me as they found that the damage was done by a reason that he couldn’t fully express. They sent me pictures of audio wires that were never connected since I have had the truck. I do not recommend!!! I will be reporting this to all my veterans and VA associates to save them from this horrible service

I called to verify do I need to schedule an appointment for what I needed done to my car and was told no. Just bring your car in! So, I did and when I got there at 2:00 Thursday I was told they couldn’t get to it. So, I asked if I leave the car could they get to it that Friday morning and I was told Yes and you all have pick up/drop off service if I wanted to leave it that Friday morning but I informed them I really needed my car to leave for a trip at 3:00 on Friday. and could they have it ready by 2:00 on Friday if I leave Thursday afternoon and I was told Yes!!! So, Friday came and it’s 1:30 and NO TEXT Update concerning my car. So, I called was put on hold for someone to check with Blake. I held on for 20 minutes!!! He finally picked up and said they had a big job that carried over! But I had to called you about my car. No apology but they would probably have it ready by 2:00 It’s on the rack Now!!! So, once again no update on my car and I called again at 3:10 and car still not Ready. I gave up on my trip and then I got an update that it will be ready at 4:00. Well, 4:00 came. No update or call that my car would be ready!!! So, finally at 4:45 my car was ready. So, Blake called and said I could pick my car up at 5:00. So, I had originally told them I would need to used your pick up services. He said that we don’t have that service anymore because people abused it!!! I questioned his honesty!!!!??? So, by now I am disgusted, disappointed,, distraught, frustrated with the lies!!! I thought I had found a reliable auto repair but NO not the case this time!!

I have used pep boys for over 11 years multiple vehicles I think they're fantastic and if I do ever have a problem they resolve it.I've always dealt with the store on academy drive and hueytown. And district manager Ricca is awesome

It was a Sunday and it was very cold but that didn’t stop Josh and his team from providing great customer service. I’m not sure what I would have done without their help. Good guys that do good work. I’ll definitely be back when the time comes for new tires or service.
