stayed here for a show at the orion and it was very clean and staff was very attentive and welcoming. we were able to walk to the show and there are plenty of place to get food in the area. very centrally located. very clean as well. i was impressed.

I regret to share my negative experience at Comfort Inn, particularly concerning their treatment of my service animal.
Upon arrival, I informed the staff that my service animal would be staying with me. However, they immediately began questioning me about my need for a service animal and insisted on knowing where the animal would be at all times. This intrusive questioning is not only unnecessary but also contrary to regulations regarding service animals.
Furthermore, they came to their own conclusion that my animal did not qualify as a service animal, despite me providing proper documentation. The rudeness of the staff during this process—especially from a staff member named Sam—was shocking, aside from raising his voice at me, making me feel very belittled and unwelcome, they refused to provide me with service based on their inappropriate inquiries.
It is disheartening to see a hotel lack understanding and compassion for guests with service animals. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Comfort inn, Huntsville research Park.

Our stay at this hotel was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. When my boyfriend arrived to check in, the front desk manager greeted him by saying, “don’t give us any trouble.” As a young Black couple, we immediately took this as a microaggression and felt uncomfortable from the start.
When we got to the room, we noticed the TV didn’t work .. frustrating, but we decided to let it go. The real issue happened on the morning of checkout. JUST 5 MINUTES past checkout time, the manager began banging loudly on our door and yelling that he would call the police if we didn’t leave. He continued to yell through the door for several minutes until we left, which was incredibly stressful and disrespectful.
To make matters worse, he made a comment that we “shouldn’t have come in so late last night” so we could be ready to check out on time, as if two grown adults need a curfew!!!!
This behavior was unprofessional, aggressive, and completely unacceptable.

The guy at the desk checked guests in and then proceeded to yell at them and kick them out over a papered service dog! Started screaming in the lobby demanding the paperwork of the actual condition and then saying they did not believe it and they do not allow dogs!

I was hesitant because of a bad review, but found out it was from someone who didn't get a desired discount. The people were friendly and courteous and the room was clean, cool and comfortable. The gentleman caring for the breakfast buffet was very helpful.

You begged for a review on the way out, so here you are. Staff very invasive and nosey. They droll over the security cameras at the front desk. We had 4 in our room with only two towels. It was nearly impossible to ask for 2 extra towels. The family running this place watches your every move. I was not the only one that experienced this. I will NOT come back to this hotel.

Had a great stay. Friendly staff. King bed room is spacious and bathroom was in new condition. Facility is in good condition as well and pricing was reasonable for 1 night. Would recommend this place.

DO NOT GO HERE! This hotel will rip you off in any way that it can! My son and I traveled from Michigan for a conference at the University of Alabama, Huntsville. We chose this hotel because it is conveniently located near the campus. My son's room was cancelled because the university that made his reservation forgot to send the credit card with him. Fortunately, I still had a room, and the night manager said he could spend the night in my room. The next morning, the woman at the desk told him he could not stay and he must GET OUT! When I tried to reason with the woman and ask for a refund for my second night, she CALLED THE POLICE. After speaking to a nice officer, he said he would not stay at this hotel. It has a bad reputation. Later, after speaking to the Department of Health and the Councilman's office, staff at both places said they would never have family members stay at this location. BEWARE.
