I had to pay in advance. So when I arrived they told me there was no Hot Water , so no Bar access and No Breakfast would be served . But they still charged me full price . ( I recieved no e-mail btw ) … there were no snacks to purchase in the store area , shelves were all empty . Hotel was out dated & smelled moldy , the night shift staff was in basketball clothes & asked me to buy him a Gatorade … don’t stay here , Huntsville has way nicer places for honestly probaly cheaper

We checked in at 1am (after what should have been a 10 hour drive but was a 14 hour drive due to traffic, they’ve had our reservation way in advance and didn’t tell us there’s no hot water until we were there in person. The only thing they offered for this is free cancellation. It’s 1am this reservation is practically over but thanks I guess! The room was dirty- dead bugs in the middle of the floor and what looked like blood stains on the bedding. The only reason for the two stars is the bed was quite comfortable. Also the bistro hours aren’t consistent online. Not much surrounding the hotel either walking distance.

The front desk staff were super friendly, but this property is run down. WiFi didnt work the entire weekend, and our shower/tub valve only went halway.

The service on arrival was awful. The hotel is very deteriorated. The rooms are old and wear down. The elevator is not working, and no one seems to care. I have very bad knees and they didn't care to put me on the first floor. They sent me to the 3rd floor! My coworker's room key didn't work and he had to go up and down the stairs 4 times until they finally changed his room to a bigger room on the first floor! So, they did have rooms available on the first floor!!! Either way, after 20 minutes they called him back and asked him to get back to his original room since they figured out the problem with the door. After he had unpacked already. By the way, all this happened after 10 pm when we arrived to check in. This is by far the worst Marriott that I have ever stayed in. Just so you know, we're Marriott Gold members, so reward status won't help at all to get a better service.
Rooms: Dirty, my room had old clothes left behind by the previous person.
Safety: It's in a shady spot. There's an abandoned restaurant in front of it where addicts gather and crash to get hi.
Noteworthy details: Find a better place to stay. This place is way too expensive for the kind of service that they offer.

Our stay at this Marriott property was very disappointing. The hotel is very dated and in need of an update and major cleaning. Our room had a bad smell which I think was either the carpeting or the sofa bed. The sofa bed itself was dirty and worn. The Wi Fi would not connect and we had no hot water in the morning.
It was also difficult to see the property from the street as it’s tucked behind other businesses with poor signage.
Overall this was not a good experience

My wife posted a bad review a week ago about being double charged. We're still waiting to get reimbursed, but what's sad is that they haven't responded to my wife's negative review.

My room had a previous leak, water damage, mold and the Sheetrock was dropping down. No internet, dirty carpet in the hallways. Trash at the entrance. I had to check out a day early. It was not a mistake they intentionally put me in a room with mold and water damage. They also let me check in and did not tell me the internet was not working. Negligence.

Im 42 years old and I travel frequently and this has been the worst hotel experience in my life. ** I will say this was booked through Priceline Express, so I did not purposely book this hotel. I did put in parameters: 3 stars +, near city center with an outdoor pool.
Problems started at checking when the front desk attendant said that my reservation had not be paid for by Priceline. I took an hour to get that resolved. I was assigned a room on the second floor. Both elevators were out of service. My travel companion has physical limitations and can not do stairs...especially stairs with luggage. I asked for a room on the first floor and I was told there was only one room with a king size bed and I reserved a room with two queens. I told the front desk host that I needed an ADA accessible room and she said that it wasn't notated in the reservations. But it wasn't notated that the elevators were out of service either. Getting to the room it's actually more important than the accommodations in the room. After a back and forth between Priceline and the hotel we were a room with a king size bed and a pullout. The host allowed me to view the room and I asked multiple time if there was linen for the pull-out bed and I was assured there was linen in the room. After getting in the room I realized that there was no linen, so I went back to the front desk to ask for some. I was given a fitted sheet and two top sheets no blanket. When I asked for a blanket a different host asked me why I needed a blanket since it was hot outside. If I had been given a room with 2 queen bed like I requested both beds would have had a blanket. But he had the audacity to ask why I needed one.
The number one requirement I had at the hotel, is that it have an outdoor pool. I got dressed for the pool only to find the gate locked. I called the front desk and they said the pool opens tomorrow (Merorial Day)but that was not reflected on the website and I never would have chosen this hotel if I had known that the pool was not open. They said I could utilize the pool tomorrow but my check out is at 12 and they do not know what time tomorrow the pool will even open.
I have travelled all over the US and other countries and never had rhis much trouble with a hotel reservation.

I Had an awful Hotel experience here. My daughter and I arrived at 10pm from a long day of softball camp at Radford and a long drive here for practice tomorrow. Upon entering it was nice in the lobby. But we recieved our keys and walked to our room and the keys would not unlock the door. So I walked back to the front and got other keys that also did not open the door. Then we tried another room with the exact same outcome. Went to another room and the door finally opened to a nasty dirty room. Beds not made and half drank water bottle in the room with dirt all over the floor. THENNNNN we had to walk all the way to the other side of the hotel then go up the elevator and got to our room finally it opened and looked clean. So we settled in and I went for a shower and there was hair all over the shower and the towels were just thrown on the rack. Not knowing if they were clean or not. (I had both of my ankles fused so walking so much is difficult for me. It was a mess) . Got up and walked downstairs and Rejane, Isic and Q were amazing helps I so appreciate their kindness.
Food and drinks: Where great.

The hotel itself wasn't bad it's the service that is terrible. I got charged twice for the room now they are refusing to give me a refund. The girl at the front desk laughed at me and said the manager has the right to choose who he return calls to. So in other words if you have a complaint don't expect a call back or any kind of customer service because they don't want to be bothered with it. I will never stay again!!!
Rooms: The rooms are ok

This place is a bit rundown and has quite a few issues. The elevator was broken on one side of the hotel for my stay, of course the side I was on. It's only three stories, so it's not bad as long as you don't have big luggage or an issue with stairs.
The rooms are basic and mostly ok, as long as they are clean. My toilet had been used and not flushed, and the sheets had a giant brown stain on them. I didn't last long in this room. My second room was clean (thanks to Marcus), however, the tv didn't work. I was traveling with a few others and one colleague had ants in his bed while another's ceiling was falling apart. Overall, not great.
Marcus was the shining light for this place. Without him, I would have been gone that first night. He is literally the only reason we stayed. Thanks, Marcus for the excellent customer service!
If you choose to stay here, lower your expectations and you'll be fine. I personally wouldn't choose to stay here again.

This Marriott hotel by far is the worst Marriott hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel is very dated and needs a lot of repairs. I have been trapped in the elevator twice since the beginning of my stay at the hotel. I reported this to the front desk and was told they will look into it. Since then the elevator has been out of service and I have to walk up 2 flights of stairs with all my work gear every day. My room is also very dated and the previous repairs are very janky and obviously. There appears to be black mold near the bottom of my toilet in my bathroom. Also room service is very poor . I went weeks without any body wash in my bathroom and sometimes without paper tissue. Forcing me to just buy my own. This is UNACCEPTABLE and something needs to be done ASAP.

Horrible hotel. The worst in the worst system. Cashless hotel but has coin operated washing machines? Needs a remodel badly, and in the worst location ever.

I stayed at this location for one night last week when I had to have some vehicle work performed. Firstly, I loved the convenience of the location as it was less than 10n minutes away from the dealership, but also that it sat back further in the cut from the highway. Upon walking into the lobby I immediately felt at ease as I looked around and was pleasantly greeted and checked in by the front desk clerk (Charles).
The room I stayed in on the second floor was immaculately clean and overlooked the pool area, and I had a perfect view of the sun the next morning (I also had a perfect view of the sunset upon checking in when I stepped out of my room into the room across that kept the ice machine). The bed was huge and comfortable and although I barely watched tv, the positioning of the television set was perfect for viewing from the bed or from the couch inside the room.
I have a shower in my bathroom at home so it was a welcome relief to have a clean bathtub that I could take a hot bath to soak some my sore muscles. The bartender from the evening I checked in (whom served me a much needed generous glass of wine ?) and the breakfast attendant (whom made me a fresh breakfast burrito the next morning) were both excellent, in addition to the other staff that I encountered up until I check out. Should I ever need to stay in Huntsville this will be my go-to location.
